Fox Farm Questions.

Any one have some good mixes, I usually just do Ocean Forest, but I was thinking about mixing with something, Light warrior, coco, perlite, what do you guys like?
I need to fill up 4, 5 gallon pots. So 20 gallons of mix I guess, not sure how many bags that is.
I was thinking about trying some different nutes, have only used the trio for my last 3 grows, well, not so much the grow big, but I decided to stick with them cause its easy and I dont want to have to read ppm's and such. But if I use a new soil mix will I need to use the Veg nutes since the Ocean Forest wont be as initially strong?

Now, last weird question, I have a big bottle of grow big that I have had for about 1 year, there is a layer on the bottom that has crystallized, you cant shake it loose, will this still be good? I also have a bottle of tiger bloom that is that old, but nothing seems to be stuck together in that. Does this stuff go bad?
Thanks in advance to those fox farm experts!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and whats up with their new line?

i have used mine and it was almost 2 years old,the crystal thing on the bottom is why i think it says on the bottle shake well cause of that. You could try using fox farm trio pack and the solubles they have, the beastie bloomz, cha ching.open sesame.I used all except open sesame and had great results.I think ima mix half ocean forest and half happy frog soil mix next grow.

Do you think you would need veg nutes in the first three weeks with the happyfrog mix?

No happy frog has all the nutrients it would need for the first 3 weeks,so does ocean forest thats why ima mix them.Sounds like a good combo to me.

I had great results with fox farm nutrients, but i am gonna try some new nuts next grow.Ima switch over to dyna gro,They have allot of stuff the plants need in that stuff plus i seen amazing results with them on rollitup and the workers at my local hydroponic store said its a little bit better.what ever you decide to do both nutrients are great.Good luck.

Hey! I JUST had that issue with my grow big! It was only 2 months old. I actually wrote Fox Farms in regards to it. I was worried the crystallization was occurring to one particular nutrient, ya know?

"Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry, and thanks for using FoxFarm products! The crystallization you are observing in your Grow Big can occur if the bottle was ever exposed to extreme temperatures, which probably happened while it was being transported to the store. You are storing it correctly – storing it in a dark place at a cool temperature is perfect. The good news is that we have tested the crystallized Grow Big for consistency with the original product, and it comes out at the exact same EC, pH, and guaranteed analysis. You may be able to put the crystals back into solution by running the bottle under warm water.
Long story short, your Grow Big is safe to use. However, if you are unsatisfied with the product, we would be happy to arrange for you to exchange it at the store you purchased it from. Please let us know if you are interested.
Thank you again for growing with FoxFarm, JOHNNY(hehe), and please let us know if we can help out in any other way. Cheers!"
