I just picked up some Fox Farm's Happy Frog, after hearing good reviews and seeing it in a store.

Brought it home and saw this on the back: "WARNING: This product contains substances known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. We do not add these substances to our products, but they are present in the ingredients we use."

WHAT IS UP With THAT??

I challenge you to find almost anything that DOESN'T have that sticker on it...

See.... breathing the air in CA... causes cancer... but rather than admit that, they have studies that show that every other substance on the planet causes cancer...

Pillows, sofas, tires, paint, I saw the sticker on the bottom of a chair @ burger king ffs....

Dont fear that label, however, as a happy frog user, I will warn, we wary of bugs.... gnats in a bag every once in a while, and I find I have to spray for mites a bit more often with the happy frog...

well, we do SMOKE pot, and well, any burned substance has levels of carcinogens.
natural lumber is carcinogenic, clean engine oil (technically natural), damn near everything man, the air, the sun, etc, etc.
Go buy some good dietary supplements for cancer prevention, fish oils, vitamins, eat lots of organic dark green vegatables, an so on.
I work with automobiles for a living, I also do CA smog checks, many vehicles fail, and everything I touch and breathe in, causes cancer, so naturally i'm fairly scared of it

Best line of defence is a strong paradigm!

aka mind state. that and state of alkalinity!

how do you guys like to take care of fungus gnats though?

Those Cali labels are F*cked up btw. Oh how I look forward to the days of a legal, no till, 25 grow cycle garden full of life and thriving food webs.. and the end of purchasing packaged products.
