Fox Farm Feeding schedule

Can some1 post a feeding schedule for fox farm nutes (not the 1 from the fox farm website) or how u have fed u'r plants with the fox farm nutes???
I started my plants on them with a 1/4 of what the bottle says, working my way up to just under recommended dosage. They seem to like it well enough. I give them regular ol water every other feeding and good dose every ten days. No ill effects yet. But then, I am only two weeks into flowering.

since your plant looks healthy so far, are you by any chance keeping a journal?

what concerns me is the unorthodox lifecycle as well as short lifespan of the plant.
while there is plenty of advice on what to use and how much there is so little on when to use.
like for instance how your nut supposed to feed it on the 4th week (so ive read). so what does that
translate to? does it even apply here since the plants doest veg? things of this nature are what concern me.

surely someone reading this thread has had proper experience growing healthy autoflowering plants start
to finish on FF and can help us out?

Could anyone clarify what exactly a grow journal is? What am I suppose to name the thread and in what forum topic. What do I put in the grow journal?

I may think about starting one with this so I could give you guys some better results at least for an autoflowering plant giving nutrients half way into its life span.

name the thread whatever you want but most ppl say the strain and any unique qulities i.e. cfl lighting or all organic

and you just make a thread in the grow journal forum topic

just log in anything new youve done possibly describe your setup and pics are ALWAYS wanted so take plenty of pics of your kids

even if you're like me and are too paranoid to post pics, simply state your method and results from time to time.
best thing is to not omit any important details/changes.

in the mean time i'll keep bumping this thread ;)

as for me i'm growing lowryder#1 so if anyone has experience with that particular strain please please please help me out.
it is my understanding that LR1 can punish you with a laughably small yield if you don't do it right.

fox farms has a feeding schedule website. go by the directions. its that simple. if your giving your plants any kind of nutrients and lets say you 'lose count' of how many tablespoons you put in your mixture, always go on the light side. never over-do it

I realize I'm digging up an old thread here, but I was searching for an answer to a similar question so what the hell? I could really use some help, as I lost 2 plants to nutrient lockout recently. It was my first grow so I'm almost certain I screwed something up.

On the Fox Farms feeding chart it says to do the feeding every other watering. I am totally confused on this because I'm using DWC so technically the grow is one big constant watering.

I have a 22 gallon reservoir connected to 3 plants in 5 gallon buckets, I also have the ability to shut the buckets off from the reservoir, thus allowing me to perfect the water before introducing it to the plant roots. So I'm working with something like 27-30 gallons roughly. I have no idea how much to feed and how often. I'm thinking it means I should load the whole system at whatever the feeding schedule says, then as the water level decreases fill with just straight water. Once I've refilled 30 gallons of water to the system I should dump and reload with full nutrient mixture again?

My advice: Invest in a ppm meter and a ph meter (best to get the combo meter). Don't go cheap, buy the ones that work.

Give your plants the desired ppm and ph.

Problem solved.

i understand but y do u give the plant bigbloom during the veg stage???

the reason for giving plants big bloom during veging. is basicaly its full of living microorganism that establish themselfes by the time you flower and when you do finaly start flowering nutes there is enough to break everything down quicker for the plants to absorb them.

I have a PPM meter ($20). It's not deadly accurate, but if it's in the ballpark (within +/- 50) it shouldn't make a difference. My plants seemed to be doing fine but at a certain point the plants just stopped taking in nutrients. They were pretty healthy up until that point. Here is the grow journal: https://www.rollitup.org/dwc-bubbleponics/329416-400w-dwc-grow-white-rhino.html

The ppm was rising and I didn't notice fast enough. A high concentration of nutrients coupled with my slow reaction time (not flushing immediately) caused the plants to die, but what made them stop taking in nutrients? PPM and PH were pretty steady, although I'm using the color tester for ph.So it may have been making slight fluctuations that went unnoticed. I just shelled out quite a bite to upgrade the growspace a little and make it more automated and less problematic if a plant dies. Before I was changing the water manually. Now I have a 22 gallon reservoir and everything is connected. I've also added an area for clones and mothers that has a T5. This will make the output go faster. Losing those plants so far in (from seed to about 20 days flowering) really sucked.

Anyway, my point is I just spent a good amount on upgrades so an expensive ph tester isn't in the cards at the moment. Down the rode for sure though.

My question still remains, at any point should you top off with fresh water? The "Every other feeding" part of it is throwing me.

when your in hydro there is no every other feeding thats why it's superior to soil growing they get nutes everytime the water comes on

Can someone help me out. I am doing my first grow. Seems I have been purposely misled by a so called friend. I am now on week 2 of 12/12. I have been told to ONLY FEED 'GROW BIG' UP TO THIS POINT. After reading these posts I am afraid I am behind schedule on tiger bloom and big bloom. Today some started to curl at the tops and some have have a little purple red from stem to leaf. What should I do? Again i'll say this is my 1st and I DON'T trust the person helping me anymore. Ulterior motives and sabotage. So please any info will be helpful. Thank you :)

You don't have to use all 3 (big bloom, grow big, tiger bloom) in order to get everything they need...it's ok just to use the grow big for veg and the tiger bloom for flower...just make sure the veg nutrient solution is higher in nitrogen and the bloom solution is higher in Phosphorus in flowering...right after u switch the plants to 12/12, there is actually a "transition" period where the plant starts adjusting its hormones in preparation for "fall" and shorter hours. During this time u slowly want to start switching over mutes to bloom...little less veg about 25% bloom, next week about 50/50 then just use the bloom up until the 6th week if indica and start flushing...always ph water...

Bigbloom, 2tbl per gallon of water for the 1st month, every other watering
Except, dont give plants any on 4th week!
weeks 5 thru 12 1tbl per gallon of water, every other watering

Growbig, weeks 2,3,4,7&8 2tbl per gallon of water every other watering

TigerBloom Weeks 5thru12, 2tbl per gallon of water every other watering.

Dude, I hope this helps you.
Is this the feeding schedule for soil or a soil less medium?
