Force hermaphroditing/increasing likelihood in male plants?

I don't believe there's any known way to force a male plant to become hermaphroditic with any certainty, but does anyone know any tricks they have personally used or heard of into increasing the chances of a male plant becoming hermie? The only things I can think of would be to stress the plant enough to do so. Could forcing it back to veg a few weeks into flowering possibly produce such a result? . Any ideas?. I know there is no 100%, surefire way to do it, but I'm just looking to increase the possibility of it happening as much as possible. All thoughts greatly appreciated

have done this once, it was not intended or wanted at the time
had a male jock horror, my 1st indoor male plant
seen posts about male plants completely dusting the room with pollen
which i didn't want, came up with a plan to snip off the branches with flowers
put them in an isolation chamber, ripen the pollen without it getting all over
that snipping made that plant throw pistils at the cuts

Males cannot "hermie" it is not biologically possible, period. Another circular echo chamber spouting bullshit like it is fact. :fire:

it can and it has happened, but its not a solid practice, if you read the thread you'll find out,,,,,
Apparently you don't understand actual science and plant physiology. Please provide a citation or stop posting bullshit. You and your internet friends saying something over and over to yourselves DOES NOT make it true.

I think you were referring to:

Gibberellic acid (also calledGibberellin A3, GA, and GA3) is ahormone found in plants. Its chemical formula is C19H22O6
GA is a male hormone in Cannabis so spraying that on a male will do nothing same goes for colloidal silver. More then likely it takes an Auxin because cannabis females are higher in Auxins then males.

Where might this "fact" be found?

Sounds a shit load like saying "A female plant cannot hermie it is not biologically possible." So I say your talking out of your ASS.

I will begin testing by spraying IAA on four males to see if i get any changes.

For females to produce feminized pollen. This moron is talking about trying to "herm" a male plant.
Why would one wan't to "try" and reverse a male is my big question. I've seen this come up many times, over the years on the internet, and the person claiming you can reverse a male, cannot come up with a source. But, we all know that a male can carry a hermie trait.
Btw though: What the fuck reason you got to call someone a moron on here for? Why you so angry? Just curious

Dude! I was just reminding the guy what he was trying to remember. He had brought it up(the giberellic acid)in a different thread, and I remembered. Re-read the post please. Lol
And if you do have succes with the
Auxins, lets us know k:bigjoint:

Just tired of internet heros making up things and passing it off as science and if it is not rigorously debunked and shamed it will flourish. I went to school for several years and worked for a fully paneled USDA research biologist who authored peer reviewed papers. The lack of language skills and basic knowledge would have them shunned by a real scientific community. This is a weed forum but many come here for actual knowledge and these things don't help. IM (not so) HO

just a theory
so dont flame me up
but seeing how its silver and copper that judges male or female
since the silver in the CS binds to the copper and makes it think its male wouldnt colloidal copper do the opposite ?

I don't have any good products for testing Auxins on males. Does the new superthrive still have NAA? I have some colloidal copper I'll give it a go.
