library of alexandria for 1, and the most notable ,as it was the epicenter of scientists in the ancient world. so i guess technically it would be an international academy .

yeah, that's totally analogous to what we have now, thus your analogy applies and is a good one.

That page references the 14th century moving forward. What about before that? Are you trying to pick peanuts out of shit again?
Then go ahead and try to prove the claim that ancient people believed the earth was flat

When you're done with that, go ahead and prove the claim that any national science academy accepted that the world was flat at any time in human history

Good luck

Do you really have that little education? Why dont you just click the link to the flat earth society posted right on your own example page?

Plenty of ancient people believed the earth to be flat. Scientists who proclaimed the earth was round and revolved around the sun were thrown in jail for heresy.

Just because you dont know doesnt mean it didnt happen.

What are the names of the science academies that held this belief?

The claim was that Doer is ignorant if he, alone, or likewise any of you who deny ACC, believes you are smarter than all 34 national science academies collectively and all the worlds leading experts

Counterclaim to that that "all people once thought the world was flat" infers all 34 science academies could be wrong too, which is preposterous, as well as patently false

So, the new group created from the old group cannot be wrong despite proof and evidence that popular scientific thought has been proven wrong time and again.

You are naive. I dont blame you, I blame your pathetic education. And I feel bad that you think throwing more money at more pathetic education will entitle you to anything more than competing for jobs with a slightly different group of people. Having a college diploma doesnt force a company to hire you. You will be extremely disappointed and further disillusioned if you believe otherwise. I have a 4 year degree in comp sci. It isnt a golden ticket, you still have to work hard.

You havent listed anything that popular scientific thought got wrong, you listed flat earth theory, which is not popular scientific thought and doesn't utilize the scientific method

You're basically claiming a belief that a tiny fringe group of people believe (even today!) and saying "See, science gets it wrong!"...

Uhh.. I'm afraid thats not very scientific..

Show me a single thing the majority of scientists in a respective field got wrong correctly utilizing the scientific method

Im not saying science can't be wrong or incomplete, I'm saying that most of the time, when it's done correctly, science gets it right

So go ahead, lets see if you can cite anything

science is never complete

I can cite hundreds or thousands of examples of scientific papers that proposed things that were wrong. Most scientific papers and theories are wrong. The scientific method is to test theories and hypothesis and prove or disprove them through experimentation. I could spend all day giving you examples and you would still not understand because you have missed the first fundamental principal of science.

What you are mired deep in is politics and current consensus and you declare it to be science because it sounds like it.
