Well what have you been giving them so far? Do you already have a line of nutrients to feed them?

hey bro, I don't have too much wisdom to impart.

I can tell you that this was from our resident guru who is MIA right this sec.

But when ya switch to 12/12. I strongly suggest (so does Sampson & Jorge Cervantes, so I figure it's gotta be kosher). But the day or day & a half that you are switching to 12/12.

Leave ALL lights off, and go completely dark for 24-36 hours.

It really helps kick start bloom. Not that I have much of a basis for comparison.

But they all sexed on like day 4, and just really seems to have kickstarted things.

I use Technaflora's Recipe for Success for nutes.

Not the cheapest stuff out there. But it is a kit with over 10 products. Lots of micro & macro nutes. Easy to fix calcium def's etc. Which seem to be the most pervasive nute def. from my experience.

Hopefully, our main man will be back soon.

I gotta say, I'm startin to fear the worst.

Say it ain't so cap'n, where ya @.

valhalla?

Hey Sam, wasup?

Stopping by to give you rep, this thread should be a sticky, I have learned so much from your Zen outlook for growing.:clap::clap:

Hope all is well for you and your garden, check out my journal in my siggy 2nd week flower and ordered some auto fems like you suggested in this thread, to have some smoke while I get clones to fill the chamber...

And like 2hard said, cloning autos isn't done:shock::shock::shock:

I had my plants on a 13 light 11 dark routine since germination then put them outside after about 2 weeks, now 2 things are bothering me 1. its kinda windy and my little plants are blowing all over the place is that bad?? and 2. the leaves seem weak and limp and are turning slightly white and withering are they just adjusting to the new climate or are they done for?? oh hyah nad number 3 haha how can i keep them about 2-3 feet tall with a decent harvest?

The wind should be ok, but maybe put something like branches around them on the ground like a wind brek if it REALLY BAD. What are the high/low outside temps in ur area? The plants could just be adjusting. And you can lst them to keep them short, but if they get a lot of sun, they will get tall without lst. Wait till the stems seem a little stronger and start to pin them down. Just keep pinning the top down when it grows back up. You can get real creative with lst, just bend them slowly so they don't break. Good luck

well i woke up and went to go look at them and now the leaves are whiter and more dead looking curled up and what not but there are still a couple leaves growing from the middle of the plant (3rd set) i put sticks up like u said (helped lots) and the regualr low temp here is about 9oC and in mid summer about 23oC high remember i live in northern ontario witch meens i only get about 2 1/2 months of good weather lol right now its still a bit chilly out with the wind but getting warmer... also today is expected a heavy rainfall should i bring them indoors to protect them or just let them be in the rain( im nervous i can only do this once a year!) lol

Well 9 celsius may be a little cold for extended periods. if it is below 12 celsius, then maybe they will be ok in the rain, but u may get one of those cold rains where u r. If you can bring them in go for it, give them a week or two inside and allow the temps to rise a little. If you could put up some pics that should help.

SimpsonSampson... i'm 1 month into flowering and have a bad case of N deficiency. this started about 2 weeks ago, so the beginning of flower. i've read a bit about it, but mostly NOT to add any sort of N now that i'm half way through flower. i'm concerned because what i've read says yield and quality will be poor.... not cool. anything you can suggest to me that i can do at this point to save this plant? thanks alot....

SimpsonSampson I got a case of the spider mtes. I was curios if you have any learning on Neem oil. I am in flowering with some nice buds forming and I am pretty sure i can't just spray this stuff all over my plants. Figure I could use a cotton ball and rub on leaves birskly or something like that? Or is that dumb? Any advise on trouncing these mites would be most apreciated.

hey everyone... how are you all doing??

thought i would stop by and explain what was up... first off let me say how sorry i am and how bad i feel for just dropping off of things.. i had a rough spot in my life and needed a break from everything... then things changed for the better.. and i just ended up getting too busy to have time for much of anything.. new job.. opening a business myself.. girl friend moving in.. life in general just caught up to me.. i am sorry that i have not been around to offer advice...

at this time i cant promise i will be around much to help out.. even finding time to write this up was pain in the ass... but i wanted to let you all know i am fine and things are going quite well...

i thank all those who are continuing in my behalf on guiding those in need... hopefully soon life can slow down enough for me and ill make a triumphant return... until then good luck and good growing to all of you.. may your gardens be green and your dreams stay high!!

Goose, my man. Checkin in from the west coast my beother. Phase 2 went beautifully, and nettd just enough scratch to get the fam out here. Again, I thank you for all the support and guidance! You played no small role in ensuring that I had 2 nice chops. Anyway, got the girls started here, where things are nearly as oppressive as the 'ol south (thank the good lord). Holla back whenev you can. If you are ever gonna be in the NW, I gotta king size bed & spare room with your name on it.

My best to you & the new job, gf cohabitation, etc. Holla back sometime!

What brand and Spectrum do you guys suggest for best flowering results? I have a HTG 1,000 6 " cooled hood that has mh/hps bulbs. Are they cheap bulbs or does it not matter. I would assume some have to be much better then others. Whats the secret?

jus a quick questions i got 2 plants 5 weeks in veg i want to keep them as the mother plant what do you think is best to take clones then make them mothers or stick with these ones from seed. and will 2- 125 cfl be enough light to keep them in veg a long time
and how soon should i take the cuttings the man in the hydro store said 3 month if its from seed do you think thats correct

Hello SimSam420, yes I am a bit of a new booty at this forum, and growing, working on my 9th cycle so I know I'm just scratching the surface, anyhow here is my predicament, I grow in an outdoor greenhouse that has fans, air, whatnot, I grow in 5 gl. Plant Warrior pot ( the kind with the inverted cone for air circ. filled with pure coco ( botanicare ). I am at week 6 of a very nice bunch of Banana kush flowering, so I am flushing as I do every two weeks, and I see all this movement in the water as I flood the pot with water, NEMATOIDS, Bigtime, thriving, on my roots? don't have aphids, so how much damage can these little suckers do in the next 3 weeks, what kind of un-chemical methods do you know of. Sure apprieate the time.

Simpsonsampson420, I noticed that you refer to Flouros by their incandescent light equivalent. Isn't this irrelevant? I always understood that light sources should be compared by their actual light output or their actual current draw. A 600 watt hid puts out 70,000+ lumens while 600 watts of flouro would put out 55,000 and 600 watts of incandescent light would be less than 10,000 lumens, most of it in the wrong spectrums to be useful.
