Food by products added to soil.

I'm wondering if there are some food/ food byproducts that can be added without composting it first. Like banana peels in hot water..cooled then added to soil. I'm looking for anything that may benefit taste, smells, anything that's proven?

smells and taste, to make more pungent or flavorful or what ever. Raise brix levels. Molasses, coconut water, and / or seed sprout tea's. - sugars / carbs .

if you want novelty flavoured weed, you can put the flavour essence shit that you find in the baking aisle of the supermarket into your feed water...I think they are like 30 or 50ml bottles, and you add one bottle to 30gallons and use after the 5th week of flower. truethfully though, why not just get a good strain with a good flavour, or if your off put by the burnt taste, get a vaporizer and play around with different vape temps to release different cannabinoids and terpenoids

most everything needs to be composted/broken down. If that happens in your dirt with a plant growing in it, probably gonna mess the ph up and lock out nutes.
remember that anything composting robs the soil of nutrients, not to mention slowly rotting things will undoubtedly attract gnats and flies at the very least.
Sounds like you may be interested in doing your own "super" compost. It takes a yr to do it, maybe less, but if you do it you'll never look back.
Get a good compost and add rock dusts, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, vegetables, fruit, fish bone meal, greensand, rock dusts....
lots of leaves.. some rotted forest logs if you can access that... ocean kelp if you can access that... unsprayed lawn cuttings ( the best being weed-wacked dandelions and similar weeds)
A good compost is the #1 most overlooked thing when it comes to cannabis grows.
A quality EWC can do the same thing, but I really like mixing the two, EWC can be too thick, and the compost has a spectacular CEC, especially if you have biochar or rotten wood chunks too
OH and coffee grinds are a great nitrogen addition to your compost, if you have too many leaves (like me) alfalfa and kelp meal works well for that too.
BUT the ultimate nitrogen addition?
weedwacked dandelions! the best shit ever... with comfrey leaves as a good second
