I have grown clones of the same plants both indoors and outdoors many times.
IF, the outdoor plants are in containers and they can be moved easily out of harsh weather conditions (heavy winds, pounding rain, hail etc.), then the outdoor plants are almost always more potent.

Plants that are in the ground cannot be sheltered and their trichomes can therefore be ravaged at the whim of mother nature. The trichomes are inevitably damaged.
This is why when I grow outdoors I prefer to use containers, although I sacrifice a great deal of potential yield. I still like to put several in the ground and keep my fingers crossed.
The in ground plants get soo much larger...never had twelve footers in any containers...

I would disagree with hyroot with outdoor being better, it is totally dependent on where you live, just imagine the outdoor buds you could grow in florida or hawiaii , then think how crappy the outdoor here in Colorado is because outside here is so harsh. Very dusty all the time here, very dry all the time, cold as shit at night and hot during the day(we're a high lands desert). Indoor here is much much more dank, we basically don't even bother with outdoor besides to make hash and stuff like that because it is so harsh and bad here I have personally tried several outdoor grows and they never had a good taste or smoke from Colorado, now I am from NJ and the outdoor there is freaking dank as shit. Totally dependent on environment but outdoor can be really good or really bad.
depends more on the grower than the environment. Indoor can be dank or shitty. If the environment is harsh. Build a hoop tent or green house. During the winter throw some lights up for those cloudy days. If you grow dank indoor and you give your outdoor the same tlc, the outdoor will be far better. The problem with some outdoor grows is they have too many plants making it very difficult to care for the plants
then you have multiple people taking care of the same grow. Each doing things their own way, thinking they know what's best....

I've seen shitty and super dank outdoor from Cali, Colorado, Oregon, Arizona, missourri, and new York. . So it really depends on the growers skill and dedication / work ethics..

Please no noobs only experienced growers. I research at least 5hrs per day on techniques and grow journals so I know more than a lil bit
Indoor buds are airy when you grow with CFL's lol

Another self righteous d-bag know it all who hasn't even taken his first step. Wish i seen this thread before I posted in his other one. Waste of time.

Lol....I know people in northern states getting pounds for $2300 so stop it and its grade A....I can call up a eight for $35
Another one that throws around grade A/ top shelf that obviously has no clue.

I.mist with clean water indoors. Plants seem to like it, it cleans of leaves that may have respiration issues and they seem to put out more resin. Once a week or so. No nutes in it though just clean water.

It takes more than a good light to grow good medicine and mother nature will never match the consistency of an indoor environment. If your outdoor is better than your indoor, I think you've got some dialing-in to do.
i see the rough edges of outdoor very much "bag appeal " in my opinion...
but your right youd never get the same gram per gram as top notch indoor..
but the taste and consistency of outdoor with the added buzz of it coming from the great outdoors really does it for me.

lol yes i def agree with the dialling in bit.

Outdoor- Quantity
Indoor - Dank
Like anything in this world there will always be exceptions to every rule. If the above isn't true in general, then I'm not comprehending what I've spent the last couple of years trying to study and learn.
its the exceptions that interest me as its these outdoor beautys that are the real deal for me.
great points..

he was on a delivery. The silver briefcase full of weed flew out the car. When he was hit. It was gmc that crashed into a Isuzu trooper
I would have said I was driving to the bank to deposit the cash, when a car full of dodgy looking people being chased coming the other way threw the box of weed out of their window. It hit my car and caused me to crash into the other car. Officer. :|

I've personally never smoked any outdoor that compares to well grown indoor. Here in Michigan we get some outdoor Cali weed shipped in, and it is always sold as middle-bottom shelf stuff in the dispensaries.
