Hydroponic Myths:

There are chemicals floating around in Marijuana Buds.

If you don't starve your plants for a week or two before you harvest you'll be smoking chemicals.

2 words "JORGE CERVANTES" hightimes editor in chief says flush from 1 week to 2 weeks he also says no tap water because if you do you will be smoking chlorine and other chems. To solve the water problem you can boil water let it cool and at same time have tap water setting in bucket with no lid to evaporate chlorine and chems. He also said something about Plant needing to use up remaining nutrients in leaves and reasons- for 1 the plant has already accepted the nutrients stored plus no shock or build up and 2 most importantly when leaves die from being used for nutrients at harvest time it creates a hormone that helps in the compactness and heads of resin glands where most of the THC rests...hope this helps

Buds never store mineral ions IN them. That is the job of the leaves and roots. Many people disagree on this issue. I am one that feels flushing is unnecessary. Like has been mentioned before me if you feed a plant properly there isnt a need to flush at all. Cure it right and i promise no one could tell the difference.

I used to attend the condies Hightimes Hempfest near medford or on a yearly basis...and one thing i can say is that a lot of hightimes employees are asshats through and through. Met Jorge at the Seattle hempfest one year when i worked construction and security on the main stage. He seemed nice.
