flushing before harvest?

hey guys i was just wondering do you have to flush your plant before harvesting? And also how many times would you do this to the plant, i know its to get the nutrients out and stuff but im gonna stop giving it nutrients two weeks before harvest so i dont see the point , help please

If you want good taste, yes you really should flush..

Hydro you just use water and a flushing agent like clearex for 2 weeks and thats it.

i have mine in soil, so how many times should i flush ??and how many days or weeks before harvest should i start to flush

Yea, flush for flavor, it taste bad when its not flushed in my opinon, it's just x2 the volume of your container in water. I do it 2-4 times befor I harvest to ensure no nutes.

o i have one more question you said two to four times , do you flush it everyday for 2 to 4 days or do you flush it more than one time in a day ?

SO flushing means watering with out nutes for two weeks prior to harvest?
meaning exact same water just without nutes?

yeah flushing means your flushing away all the nutrients and chemicals out of the soil, if your growing in it in soil ive heard that if you have your plant in...lets say a one gallon bucket you would flush it with 3 gallons of water, and yes just pure water no nutrients it makes the bud taste bad but im kind of a beginner so sorry if i got that wrong

You're also trying to eliminate leftover salts, thus the stop feeding and flush steps.
Salts make smoke bite the throat on inhale.
Just starting to flush after 30+ years of growing . . . it does make a + difference in smokability/taste. I do 3X water as container size, and usually add molasses to the last one in each time. I keep flushing (every watering) from week 8 until the trichs are ripe (it's a 7-8 week strain).

I personly try to let the soil start to dry out it depends on plant size and containers I usaly have big vigourse plants that need an ample supply of water so I averge 3 flushes befor the harvest if you do it every day you'll probley give them root rot

i have diesel ryders at week 7 , 2.5 gallon pots , i water every other day! 2.5x3 = 7.5 gallons!
isnt thAT TO MUCH WATER?

I answerd this already but its hard water just plain nothing but, and make sure you ph it (if possible). You have to water with atleast 2x's the volume of the container a couple times and the soil will lose the nutes and the buds will taste better.
