~ Built a grow box out of some spare lumber and fluorescent lights not being used. Have some other plants growing in it before I can take them out to the garden.

~ Bought 6 GE plant/ aquarium 40 watt wide spectrum bulbs. Also have 4 23 watt CFL's running for supplemental light for a total of 332 total watts.

~ Plants are showing considerable growth and soon I may need to transplant them to a larger container, checked roots and they are growing to walls.

:peace:

~ Plants are really starting to take off now!

~ Transplanted them into full 1 gallon containers with a mixture of garden soil, perlite, and saw dust.

~ PH still hovering around 6.0

~ Grow box temp: 75- 80 degrees.

~ Outdoor temperatures are starting to get warmer so I am exposing plants to exactly 6 hours of sunlight from 10am- 4pm. Also giving them additional 18 hours under fluorescent lights. 24 hour light cycle :)

~ Also made modifications to Grow Box for the better, plants are starting to outgrow it!

~ PH spiking a little at 6.5, will lower with soil acidifier or blood meal.
