What so you think or know of the fluence spydrx spectrum, i just know that they say, the green Spektrum is way more important than everybody thoght .

These lights are the only led "i have seen"(viedeo) what goes over 2g/w
Does someone know what led they exactly juse?

And do the Samsung strips F or H serie compare to this,
I have not seen a nice strips grow with heavy yield (1,5g/w+) jet , maybe i just not looked good enoght

People grow with the spydrx and swear by them.

Strips can crush it too.

Grams per watt is an irrelevant number. I vegged my outdoors for close to 4 months and will get a pound per plant. If you veg for 2 weeks and flip in a SOG you will really show a massive grams per watt number too.

It would only work if everyone did the same veg so they could be compared. :)

I think a lot of light selection comes down to pick one of the really good choices within your price point (COB/Quantum boards or strips or sypydrix etc). and dont look back. Master growing with the light and you can fill your space with buds.

Jarvild got 1.9 GPW and that looks like a fancy strip light with some reds and blues he made himself.
Really, here is a grow at 23 WPSF of LEDs. 270 watts, 6 plants covering a 3'x4' area. 18 ounces dried, 1.9 gpw.

-Bigger brighter blue Peak at 430-460
-Even more with green at 530-580
-And at the end the biggest different with the deep reds 650-670

But i realy dont know howmuch does thes makes a different , it seem to make one

Iam a bit of an efficence freak,
I make almost just SOG , sometime a bit scrogy but with at least 9 Plants in 3×3

I dont have the space, time or Money to vegi a few month

And i think different, the light/protones are that what does make mass, you can vegi for 2 years and you wan't get more than a sog under the same space and light sorce.(and it needs just 2 week cloning,0-2 weeks vegi/rooting and then Flower, saves es a Lot of Money Time an space)
The long vegi Time makes it a Lot more easy, But is much less efficient

SOG is the most efficient. Plant count is the problem.
We can run 4 plants legally so I bush them out a bit and flip to 12 12 and get what i can in my 4 x 4 :).

Running a mother and sogging 9 at a time means 5 harvests a year

running 4 plants with a 4 week veg is 4 harvests a year

Yield is always greater with a sog. I would run one myself but i have gear for 4 plants.

Constantly pulling more than 1.5 GPW with old gen5 Citi's 1212 (153 lumens per watt)... and with only two plants which goes from seed to harvest in 82-85 days!

Can't wait next week to start with Samsung strips and 183 lumens per watt!! I think it will be easy 1.8 GPW or more with all other aspect remaining the same.

You can always use qb's and strips to be efficient and then be a little more creative of your grow space design and then be more efficient with how you grow. Yes plant counts get high but if your going to be busted do it right. lol...
5ftX8ft space setup for two chambers.
6 x Trained for 6 tops per plant top shelf
31 x Sog Plants on the bottom and plenty of space for more little plants.

For top shelf I just top and cut the clones till im happy, im never in a rush so veg time I never count to be honest when growing plants with multi tops.
The sog plants smaller ones went into flower when they had a inch long root, the bigger ones on the right got about 4 weeks from clone to flower.
As for yield no idea in this setup will find out soon. Look in my diary all questions you may have I am sure are detailed in it. Diary in my sig below..

Pretty sure they went 27k, 4k & 660 of I remember correctly. Great spectrum yielding good results from everyone I've talked to with them. Really interested to see how Bar-8 compares with the new Amare Medical Equatorial spectrum.
The Prototype I'm using has the same spectrum as Fluence & does a nice job. Had bleached tips once but only on that specific strain.

27k = 27000kelvin?

The other advantage with a sog is low plant height. :) I have some sour D that are out of control ATM and it is problematic when it hits the lights.

I thought spyder was using samsung lm561c diodes but I could be wrong.. so yeah for sure a good light its a strip build made for you instead of diy sold at twice or more the price but you get a quality product..

I hear you. My Sours were monsters too. Got a cross pheno that hit the ceiling recently so I had to trellis her around 5'10"& spread her out. She wound up taking up the whole 4x4 & luckily can get 6" to the bars. Here's a pic from last wk after raising the light to the ceiling. 20180930_185019.jpg This is from a pheno hunt & although this one grew big, its buds are small compared to the other phenos. It also seemed to require higher nutrient levels. Prob due to its ginormisity.
What I like about the bar desig is that the wide, even spread allows for more maintainable light intensity/density as depth increases. But you can still get super close w/o having the par #'s get to high cuz even very close, not any one point of the bar is ever to much @ 660w anyways. Once up to 800+ I'm sure there would be a little more head room needed.
I cant speak on the Spyders #'s but the Bar-8 is getting a 500ish ppfd over a 4x4 @ 4' away using 660w.

I know. A duh! Bml "Build my light" or sumish. They charge way more.
Oh, I agree. Buy the Fluence Spyder or something like that rather then build it if your serious about getting growing with it.
