I love rabbits. Used to have two that were litter box trained. I still have a coffee table with chewed up leg to prove it. :)

Hey uc, hope all is going smooth for you. I been wanting to ask, whats your method of res change in terms of moving large amounts of water? Do you use a submersible pump to get the water out, inline attached?

Thanks

Yes I have a Y splitter attached to the pump. Normal operation the nutes recirc, close one ball valve and open the other, now the water gets pumped outside to DTW.

Great idea but that scares the crap outta me because I have broken 3 of those mag drive pump housings by looking at them wrong! I use a threaded spigot running back into my res to limit movement on the manifold for a similar result except I have to hook a hose up to it to drain. I hope you have much better luck than I have had.

I can't wait to see how those lights work out for you. I am interested but skeptical.

Your system is looking legit as usual. Nice work!

I want to thank you for taking so much of your time to share your experiences with others, that is very generous of you.

I've been seriously thinking of changing over from my "Grow Tubes" to UCDWC. Yesterday I built a small 6 unit veg system for my next grow. Once I get plants in it I'll post a pic or two. next I have to make a system for my 4k watt flower room.

Thanks for the information and motivation!

You should be able to find them at any big box hardware store... blowe's, homecheepo. However I don't use them anymore, now it's a tail bucket (much like the epicenter) and I use the filter that came with the danner mag drive pump.

UC, You are truely an inspiration. Before I found your thread I wasn't about to invest any time and money into any sort of hydro system. I have grown some amazing buds in soil, my first time trying i used a 400 hps on 4 different kinds, voilater kush, trinity kush, LSD, and blue cheese. I was surprised at how easy it was and how incredibly high me and all my friends got, I mean everybody said I had the best shit around. That was months ago, since then i've been laying low and enjoying my prized buds every now and then, I'm on a damn color code hotline for probation but I did get the best color, I only get called in every other week, so ill toke a nice one after I take the UA. anyways, it took me three days to get through your informative thread and I want to thank you for how much your helping me out just by keeping this going. So now I am going to start investing in a 8-12 tote rdwc system, as much as my checkbook can take, maybe a 8 then add totes as I get better at this type of growing. I still have three months before I can start up again but damn bro, I cannot wait. I really like the look of the girls in your new setup, they look like they are outdoors, and then your outdoors looks like something of a magazine. :eyesmoke: Subbd up in this bitch

Finished my 6 bucket veg unit!

I used 1.5 inch PVC with uniseals, in hindsight wish I would of used 2 inch pipe. This was my first experience with uniseals. I was a little concerned as I'd read a few peoples bad accounts. Truth be told I'm not the handiest guy but all went well, no leaks! Wasn't that bad to put together. I (think) I posted some pictures below (my 1st time posting pics)

Next, I quickly need to make a system for the flower room. I bought the 14 gallon rubbermaid rough totes. I'll be using 3 inch uniseals and PVC. Hope to have that ready in 14 days. If all goes well I'll report back.
