Flowering Plant Smells "Sour" ..Root Rot?

I have one Nirvana Bubbilicious that smells ( and tastes ) like its "sour".. Not in a good way... In a bad way.. It also has far less trichomes than my other bubb plant the same age..Also the other bubb that smells nothing like that at all.. The other one smells sweet.. Im growing in FF happy Frog using Grow Big/Tiger Bloom.. I PH my water using cider vinegar.. At first I thought it was because of the vinegar, but only one of the plants are like this.. And the plant in question has also had probs with yellowing/browning leaves since it started flowering. Is it possible it is root rot?
Both plants are at 8 1/2 weeks of flower but look like they still have 2 weeks left..

do u think it coulb be some kind of mold or mildew
