Drain to waste

Starting res ppm 550
Ph6
Water temp 22c

Waste water ppm 800
Ph6

Day Temps 23-26c
Humidity 45-55

Night temps
17-21c
Humidity 50-55

The buds seem to have stopped fattening and their getting more resin, the calyx haven't fully swollen yet .

Mostly white hairs

I'm taking a guess and going to say too much Nitrogen causing that stretch. Might cut back even more . Look at the leaves they kinda look like claws.

Starting water ppm is 150. I might go 300ppm total next feeding.

Also my lights are at 55k lux at least.
12inches off the canopy.

Lights are a mix of 5000k and 3500k spectrum.

Any ideas about the setup , nutes, or lights?

I'm hoping these will finish fattening up but the more I look under the canopy the more I see little popcorn buds forming all underneath. Again.

My “grow” now is the first one that I’ve ever truly went and cleaned house on the leaves.! It works..... my girls never missed a beat, I need to trim more
No I'm Canadian haha and legal haha

I agree I should have taken off more thin branches. I won't top a second time and definitely think our the fan leaves more.

Your blueberrys look more crystally but very leafy too.

They look alot further along than four weeks, did something happen or is a super fast pheno?

They are five weeks and two days into flower

Mine are almost week 8

Flipped to 12/12 on feb 9
I went back through my pics of my journal. Your Blueberries grew taller and faster than mine. It might be my high nitrogen problem. IDK. I’m going to cut my amended soil with some regular FFOF and see what happens and also dim my light down during early veg. Trying to put things together...

Yeah this may also be the difference in soil vs coco .

Also room conditions, nutrients, techniques, pheno, lights, seed bank lol tonns of factors.

My strips are a mix of 5000k and 3500k spectrum. Bridgelux eb strips gen 1

I wander if I should be reducing the blue to make these girls mature.

Or reducing light intensity to reduce stress at this stage .

Any last two week suggestions ?!
Thanks!

First , i want to say it looks good & your doing a good job.
But I’d plan on 3-4 weeks not 2
I would turn the lights to 3500k
I would give them a good flush with a low ppm, and watch the run off, check at the start, check again once you think they had enough. then get back on feeding after they dry out.
I don’t know LEDs.
But the buds looks like, either not enough light or to hot , if I remember right your temps are good.
Can you turn them up (watts)or lower them closer to the canopy with out burning?
This last stretch of the buds seems like they are going up not out.
don’t know LEDs so guessing .

I would pull any little buds starting that are behind the rest. Or any tiny suckers on the low nodes . You want that energy to the top not forming new buds at this point .

Have you used these lights before?
What are u pulling for watts out of the wall per 4x8?
Rule of thumb for led is 32w/sq.ft.
Something like that anyways.

Over the last 4 days I've lowered my lights maybe 6-8 inches no signs of burning hairs

My lights are 480w per 2x4 table lol

Should be lots. I didn't check with a watt meter but I'm sure it's over 420w per table

I can lower without the hairs receding, or signs of light/heat stress right away..

But I don't want to fuckup and cook them at this point.

I have use this light befor but it was on a haze strain so it never really matured either.

Maybe the spectrum, maybe just impatient .

Also if I turn my lights to just 3500k then IL only be using 50% of my strips. So ideally 240w per 2x4

Plants were pretty light today I fed 2.5 gal to 18 plants and there was no runoff.

I don't think I flushed enough yesterday the runoff was 650ppm input was 250ppm so I probably should have kept flushing until it was at or close to the input ppm or at least down to my res ppm of 350.

I was going to feed another 2.5gal 3hrs but for lights out

Should I do a real good flush until my input output are the same ppm??
Then wait till they dry out like you said befor I feed again

When your dropping your lights , I’d watch the top fans for color loss, not the pistils.
The fans will change first .
I would lower a little, and watch, and hit the canopy with a temp gun. Monitor the temp .
The closer you run to the max the more you should watch this table .

Going to 3500k means 50% lose of light , I wouldn’t do it .
But something is up with that light setup.
You are running LEDs to save money I’m guessing . But if they are taking 50% longer to finish a crop , are you saving ?

I love math and numbers , they don’t lie, it’s right or wrong. I ran the numbers on LEDs when I built my last room.
Bang for buck , $ spent per year , new release of technology, LEDs are not for me just yet.

I’m seeing signs of nute burn, even when they have been “fluffed”

Water (pretty much everything) follows the path of lease resistance, when your flushing the water will want to flow out this path, it takes a lot of water to get into the ball .
This is why I keep checking , when you 1st start seeing run off , it will be close to the same as what your adding , but as you keep going you can watch the ppms climb
As long as its climbing your not done,

I use to flush with straight RO, and after I was done the last water would be a weak feed. but after some debate with memebers n testing , I use about 15-25%ppm as the plant has been getting .

And don’t let it dry right out, this will also pull more salt out of the medium, rising ppm.

I would run a “known” strain in that system to cross reference the data.
Next run grow whatever you want , but maybe seek out a clone to put in there and see what happens .
If my PBK can finish in 49-56 days in my system, and takes 80-88 in yours you’ll know the lights need to be addressed.
If it finishes in 63 days , I’d say they are ok.
And the B.B. is the right strain for your grow.
I do think your system will take longer no matter what light , because of the amount of CO2 I pump into the room. It really gets things moving .

Ah see I don't run co2 yet.

And thanks for that info IL do a big flush with 1/3 dose feed

Also. I started this mother, and cut enough clones for me and my buddy. He's using two mars 300w lights and I made my own custom lights.

His plants may have been a little more damaged over the course but they look almost done.

Mine on the other hand are much larger and not slowing down yet lol. My lights may take longer but we will see the weight might increase too .

I own and have used hps but I love these mid powered leds. No hot spots. The lights are cool to the touch and no heat on the leaves. My ballasts getwarm but a fan cures that. Oh yeah... The other big factor is I'm working with a bedroom and a 7 ft ceiling. Ugh

I'm getting alot of popcorn bud forming all over the existing branches about half way up .
