Floralicious Plus And Liquid Karma

I've read posts comparing these two products. And I've also heard people claiming they are completely different.

Would it be a good idea to use both products during feeding? Overdoing it or a good idea? Which one do you like better? :leaf:

Liquid karma is too dirty for hydro and does nothing in the dirt. Floralicious plus does nothing in the dirt but I do find a few benefits when used in a hydro system.

You're trying to say that BOTH liquid karma and Floralicious Plus do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for a plant that is in soil?:finger:

Homebrewer is right...I do tried and used Bud Candy, Sweet (Botaincare) and karma for my soilless. To be honest, i cant taste any sweets , I mean NADA ! but its genetic in the strains that certainly affect taste, aroma, etc, thats it.

I think its intended for hydroponic system that will work with any additives like floralicious, bud candy, etc. I dunno why it dont work in the dirt. If you dont believe me then go ahead to take HBs advice about buy gallons of both and use em simultaneously at 2x the recommended dose :D

Happy growing and peace

The average grower will see zero benifit from either product, there is alot more to getting results from additives than reading manufacturer instructions & just dosing the plant with higher ppm.

If you are not able to tailor the npk ratios as the plants needs change beyond reading the lable, then feeding X fertilizer durring veg & Y fertilizer durring bud with standard nutes than realisticly additives such as floraliscous will add nothing to overall plant vigor,or harvest weights.

Btw brother, ive been growing soil over 20 years & hydroponics for allmost 5 years now so i consider myself a well versed grower, but on the odd occasion i need help with my grows i ask the 2 best growers i know on this site, one is my hydro mentor Albfuct & the other is the man you flipped off,if homebrewer gave you advice you can take that shit to the bank as 100% fact, also fyi homebrewer has spent countless hours experimenting with & testing many additives, including the ones you asked about,he even goes out of his way to doccument the tests & letting the membership here benifit from seeing the results 1st hand.

Your a newb here so try n show some respect & not start shittin on our members, especially our best educated members, thanks.

So what additives do you experts recommend besides the base nutes in soil? I got free containers of both of those and I'm disappointed to hear they don't work.

It's not that they don't work, it's just that they're not worth buying to be use in dirt in my opinion. If you got them for free then use them at their suggested rate. I don't think you'll notice anything but you might as well use them up.

What are some addetives to use in dirt? I'm using GH: Floranova Bloom, FloraBlend, FloraNectar, FloraLicious Bloom, Silica Blast, Cal Mag +, Molasses

I had read some great reviews for Liquid Karma, so I bought some. Idk if it's doing anything. My plants look good. I use it mostly for the humic acid, but have found better additives for Humic than Karma. I plan to use it up this time during early veg.

I am just learning the difference between humic and fulic acids. Humic needs beneficials and Fulic can be taken directly by the roots without beneficials. According to grow store guy - floralicious plus is 'derived' from humic acids which means it has been broken down into fulic acid and therefore would work in a hydroponic system. But Im shelfing it for now because i just want to stick to the basics.

This is what they do and are beneficial in soil grows. Please explain why they are not anyone else.

Don't have idea about Liquid Karma. But GH's Floralicious Plus is a great product to boost flowering and fruiting product. Also plants metabolic growth. But little bit expensive

Ok so this is the science for the non novice!! :) So neither may be beneficial in all situations debatable but if your using any organic calcium/magnesium supplement in hydro like calmag+ from gh or others that are carbonates as apposed to sulfate or nitrate derived. Its definitely worth using a quality amino product!! Calcium and magnesium carbonate are both only lightly soluble, meaning a potential for lime scale (hard water). phosphoric acid (commonly used to lower ph) reacts with calcium ions turning it to calcium phosphate, what bones are composed of!. If you use a amino acid compound it will chelate the calcium and magnesium ions making them much more water soluble which A.) allows for better uptake and use and B.) keeps limescale build up at bay.

Are the end results somewhat the same from Hydro and container grows? Is it worth leaving a coco or Promix grow and learning to grow in flood tables? With Hydro, it seems that you'll invest in more additives to be used in conjunction with Dyna Gro. Is it worth it? Or just stay in containers? Appreciate your time and assistance, HB.

Regardless of the food, a humic/fulvic/sea kelp additive can be helpful in hydro. The only reason to move to hydro is for automation.

Karma is Humic acid with seaweed. Floralicious Plus was suppose to replace Floralicious year ago but they kept on making both. Floralicious has Humic and beneficials (Bacillus Subtlis) in it along with seaweed and is pretty potent. 1ml per gallon. Originally when it came out I did some DWC test with it and when I put too much in the beneficials went out of control with HUGE globs of them growing on the roots. Wish I had pics of it but that was like 8 years ago.
