Flood/drain to aero/nft conversion (GDP bay dream) clone/veg/flower same system

This is a pretty easy conversion if you have a flood drain setup and you are familiar with the stink bud aero/nft.

There are some great things about this setup. You dont have to worry about leaks. Its used for clone veg and flower. You can even start seeds by using net pots and grow rocks.

There are a two things i highly recommend with this setup. A 1min on 4min off timer. Or one that you set up the time yourself. I prefer 30sec on 5min off. The second thing is a chiller or a dyi chiller. This really depends on your water temps. I prefer 55 to 67 rez water temps.

no rooting gels or solutions just cut and mist the top

Nothin your set up looks primo im my opinion very nice

I just keep going back and forth from aero to dwc

I just cant decide which I like more at this point

but im getting a real big room (for me) soon and hopefully will be able to pick a system

but I will probably never go to anything else but areo for clones

unless somethings easier and fast but I doubt it lol

looks nice though

If the roots are small enough still to move without damage

only thing I would do is move those tall ones around the perimeter
and I dont jnow whats up with the little guy

but other then that looks great

Some roots are already down in the rez so i dont want to risk any root damage. Plan to top down to the second node soon that should even it up pretty good.

There are a couple of the little guys that didnt root. No solution or gel so its expected.

Havent tried dwc. Want to but i dunno maybe one day

Day 30 from clone topped and in 12/12. About one week veg.

Will be tieing down the tall one.

if you get creative you can hang that fan up and point it down and angled to hit the canopy that way you get a lil extra grow room

Is the tall one getting all the light ? move it out to the side and put a short one there ?

I think it was just a bigger clone. Im gon to tie it down till the others catch up.

Only bad thing about this setup is that i cant move anything. The roots are all the way down in the rez.
