Good on you for using the plastic/rubber net.
I'm sure the fish appreciate it.

Yeah they all get tossed back except when we do our survival camping trips. We take nothing but booze. If we ain't catchin we ain't eatin. :)

Edit:I'd also like to clarify that I go on TONS of camping trips where I bring excessive amounts of food. Survival trips are for fun sometimes. Don't wanna make myself sound like some bears grylls fucker.

1.7-2.5 mph with around 100'-150' setback. Depth with be what my fish finder tells me, prob around 40-60' from the reports on lake Shasta right now. Browns lil deeper, first thing in the morning i can't fucking wait man!!!! Got a spot on the sac arm for friday through monday. The boat is gonna be in a slip right by the campsite.

yo dux....did you try them pilings up there?....i would fish the down current side, real close to the piling and bounce a glob of worms or fresh cut bait off the bottom.

a live crawfish would work well there too i bet. use a small hook thru the tail, pinch his nose and let him crawl around them pilings.

There's always something willing to bite near those sketchy looking pilings! Can't believe the cracks and rotted concrete..
That's the arcola high bridge, some cool history and wives tales if you google it..

Well, No fish last night while hunting kitties but got bombed by Dobson flies!!
Harmless but they look like flying crayfish when you see one flying between you and the stars at night. AND you sure as hell feel them when one lands on you!! (it usually results in some sort of arm swinging dance in the boat)
