OK I decided to try to make some Bubble hash and have a question I cant seem to find a answer too. Is this stuff supposed to stay soft(pliable) or is 24 hours just not enough drying time?

I usually let mine dry for 36-48 hrs then put in jar and burp twice daily for 2 weeks.
That was my plan exactly, BUT I was thinking this would dry hard and not soft like a putty so Im at a loss of what to do. Its not like its mushy like mashed potatoes or anything like that, but is definitely not hard like I expected. Im just trying to figure out if its supposed to be soft or its supposed to be hard. Since Ive never tried this before I dont know what to expect. Basically Im trying too figure out if I screwed it up or not.

How did you make it?
Well I dont think I screwed that up (seems like a pretty simple process) but to put it in a condensed step by step - Ice, herb, ice, herb, ice in bucket. add water, sit for 30 minutes, stir gently for 3-4 minutes, let sit for 20 minutes, strain thru 220 160 120 73 and 45(pictured), drying on plate since.

Did you break up the material after collecting in the bags? It helps dry the hash better and result into less mold. Basically after you collect from the bags, try to chop it up fine so instead of one giant clump, it'd be many many little pieces. But overall I think you did a good job.

True the longer you shake the more plant matter but the first cpl batches are more pure. You can watch the color get greener. Ive used that for cooking. I have a big glass table that I shake it out on, so I can see the color change.

You really have to break/chop the resin for drying ad it does not look like you did. In the best conditions, evenly chopped and small, 35% to 40% humidity and with temperature in the mid 50's it would take 24 to 36 hours, double that with sticky resin.
