First timer dwc bagseeds hints and advice welcome

hey guys first time tryin this had the light to far for first 2 weeks fixed now
didnt feed them either for first two weeks lol last week gave them mircle grow and epsom salts yesterday upgraded to jungle juice and super thrive
room is 7 ft by 5ft 1000w hps i have a fan in door way blowing in cool air from barn and a fan blowing under canopy oscilating to blowair out of room cant afford anymore right now for exhaust
temps are 77 to 81 light on and 69 to 73 lights out
also giving them daily h2o2 using 5 gallon buckets temp between60 and 70
faceheres a couple pics any suggestions would be great what am i missing and what more should i do thanks

yes so i dont have a ppm pen yet waiting for my paypal account i am using jungle juice grow micro bloom i change my res every sat so do i just add wht it says for veg and leave it all weekor should i add someduring the week say wed?

im not going to get into ppm again mate, baffles me head myself lol look on my sticky at what i did daily

No only add more nutes when you add more water, res changes is when you should add more nutes. I wouldnt even mess with hydro without a PH/PPM pen especially for a newb grower you are gonna have to go by what your plant looks like which isnt that easy for beginners.Good luck.

I don't have a PPM pen either but I was growing in soil for many many years and can pretty much tell by looking what I need to do. One thing that I think is a good rule and that is that less is better than more. If you don't have enough you can always add slowly but if you have to much it's hard to recover.

yes im waitng on my paypal account to go to ebay how high should my pen read is 1999 high enough also wiimb when should i fim or should i super crop or top which would you guys suggest i waanted to put up some wire for scrog but it will be diicult to move buckets to change out water right so suggestions would be great also i read the slime articles and i have little slime on roots where can i buy some stuff for it and what thanks

If you wanna scrogg i suggest a single one per bucket, you can build one quite easy with a bit of pvc and some corner pieces. 1999 PPM is plenty. If your gonna top or fim a scrogg isnt as needed as if you didnt top, both ways id suggest topping asap. 4-8 tops is enough so a to the notes 2-4 times.

I would cut some panda film and place white side up over the net pots. I found that hydroton alone lets light in somewhere, and this causes issues. If you don't have panda film (black/white plastic) then black garbage bag will work, card board, plastic etc.. you get the point.

Yup, Algea will loves light, & water. Use anything you can to cover like cheese says

i fimmed this morning or topped time will tell i was trying to fim though i missed thie miss lolanyways heres a couple pics they seem to like the nutes but i need some great white and aqua shield cause i cant get rid of the slime keeps coming back anyone anything

what ive done in the past is take some black spray paint/primer and paint one side of a paper plate..i then cut a hole in the center about a inch in diameter..i then cut the paper plate in half.

then it is easy to just place the paper plate over your net pot (black side down)and have it snug up against your plant.

yes cover the hydroton with something. All good ideas from previous posters, I like panda film cause its white where plant is and black on hydroton, and its cheap like 1.xx a foot x 10 foot wide.

so how was the fim job?

hey guys sent the wife to the store today to get root excelerator and something to kill that slime they did not have aquashield or great white she came home with wilt guard and regen a root by cx hydroponics.anyone ever use it and is it any good?thanks

well just changed the water nd put some wilt guard and regen a root by cx hydroponics we will se if that takes care of the slime .heres a couple better pics of the fim wiimb
