I like to train them while they are young. I start bending at around 8" tall. It's alot of work but we'll worth it in the end.
Damn that is a beautiful bush! Can't wait to see the beast flower out. I'm almost done with mine so I'm happy with it. Also being a newbie it is good training

U seem to have the hang of it. I prefer a bigger bush. They are easier to train. That indica strain is a hassle. Sativia bush vs indica bush.

Those girls look awesome man! I have watched a lot of growing videos of the last three years and it's helped me a lot! Thanks god for technology

Took a bud off to dry and taste test to see if she is ready or not. The nutrients I was using are non salt so they should be ready quicker.

Nice plants OP that last pic looks very similar to the autos I grow occasionally. Couple questions,
1. Did you flush the soil for the last two weeks of flowering?
2. How tall did yours get? Mine tend to get to about 6ft but I don't use any cropping techniques on autoflowers. The ones I've "topped" or "fimmed" in the past were nowhere near as yielding as the ones I left alone.
3. Think you got a decent yield?
4. What size planter/bags?

Well I had to take my plant down... Was looking it over happy and on of the top colas I spotted something white... Fucking bud rot! Took at least 8 grams. But I came out of it with around 60 grams.

So today was a crazy day dealing with my very first harvest of a big plant. Sad I lost some bud but still have two more beautiful girl. Since it's Sunday I took my weekly photos.

Girl one and last time we will see her...

Girl Two: if someone has had bud like this, do I need to wait for the hairs to go Amber or get smaller or is it close to harvest. The trikes are cloudy with some Amber and clear.

Girl Three: she is about ready to cut to. I'm gonna just give her water and get her soil nice and cleaned out so she can detox lol. Hopefully it don't rain or she will be heading to the shed to stay for the wet weather.

1: yes I did and it was only for a week due to the nutrients I use for the plants.

2: mine only grew 8 inches tall and only produced like 3 grams. I would never fim or top a auto because they grow on a time cycle and not a light cycle. If you do any hard training it could horribly stunt them and produce what I got.

3: no I did not but I won't give up on getting a better higher yield.

4: I have 5 Gallon smart pots and they are AWESOME! Personally for my next grow I'm getting 10 gallon for the outside plants and staying with the 5 gallon pots for my tent.

Also these three plants I'm growing are not autos or fems. There were just random bag seed from from regs or mids I got for cheep. The plants are packed and juicy! So the people handling the plants before sucked and didn't do the right things (drug dealers don't give a shit of you get good or horrible bud). Started with six plants and ended up with three females. First time grower and very pleased with how this grow went. Taught me a lot of stuff and how to prevent stuff. Finally learned what bud rot and white mold is now from gaining experience.

Well I think my first time growing is teaching my cannabis 101... First plant had bud rot... My second female... I noticed something odd with the bud. I looked closer and they looked like little yellow bananas. She fucking turned into a hermaphrodite... Couldn't believe it but at least it's that last week for her. The third female is looking healthy as ever but still feel like I shouldn't harvest her yet till her hairs are Amber or at least smaller. Gave them both haircuts today though.

I went ahead and cut my loss as the second female started making pollen... So I chopped her down. She was a pain in the ass with trimming and I turned a lot into trim that I will dry out and freeze to later turn into hash.

Trimming took about 4/5 hours total.

Well two plants are harvested and curing now. Was gonna let the third go longer but it's a Herm also. Also the weather is really humid and don't want to lose all the hard work.

70 grams total from two plants. 30 from the 1st and 40 for the second female. Have about 200 grams of trim that I will turn into hash.

Auto's suck.. Chalk it up to a valuable lesson learned.
I seen people grow them and grow them like any other bud. It's insane but I did horrible on my part. Lessons are learned though trial and error. Three beautiful girls are my pride and prize. The first one lost a whole cola dude to bud rot. The second female went male or Hermed. The third I'm chopping today. One bud had bud rot, the plant hermed also, and it still very wet. Even though thanks to anyone that gave me good comments or helpful information as all information is good information.
