First time growing with AutoPot - Few Questions

Hi there!
I've just bought a new autopot system and I'm going to use it growing AF strains.
there are a few things I'm not sure of and I need the experts help

1. what is the best way to germinate using this system - paper towel \ small pot and than transfer \ germination in the final pot from the start ?
2. The instructions of the autopot system say to water in the beginning by hand and than don't water for 10 days to let the root look for water and reach the bottom. is that a good idea? and if so, how much do I need to water in the first time and when to do it? after germination?
3. when do I start using the AirDome for the roots?
4. I am using 270w FSF Lighthouse Hydro BlackStar Chrome Grow light Flowering LED, can I use this lemp for Veg? of perhaps i should use some cfl's in the first weeks?
5. I am using BioBees Organic fertilizer and I've heard that I can't use organic fertilizers in an autopot system, is it true? can I put only a few litres every time and let the organic fertilizer sit in the water for 2-3 days or is it a bad thing to do?
allot of questions I know :-\
an answer to any of them would be great :-)
Peace & Harmony :weed:

Hey Babarafi,
New here too... a novice for sure, although I grew, "the best pot in the world," on the Big Island of Hawaii in 1972 according to, "High Times," back then. I'm 62 now and starting over with great results so far... 4 weeks. I'm using Pro Grow 260X LED, Michigan M3 MMM soil in 5 gallon buckets. Oh yeah... I paid $200 for 10 seeds of AK-49 auto-flower and haven't regretted it for a moment. I also use a CO2 canister with sensor that keeps the closet around 1100 ppm... everybody says 1500 ppm, but I've read pot plants can't use over 1000 ppm... who knows? Every seed germinated and grew healthy... I just put the seeds in a shot glass of water overnight and then into jiffy cups (great product). I don't recommend what I did next: put them in 3 qt. (?) black plastic planters... I would put them directly into 3 or 5 gallon buckets. They got, what I thought, was very traumatized when I had to shake them out of their planters yesterday, but they barely drooped at all and look very happy today. Can't recommend the M3-MMM soil enough, it's like my system, outside of watering with PH 6.5 tap water, is maintenance free... so far. Also use mylar in the closet and 2 fans, one oscillating and one tiny one on the floor. The lights and CO2 are on an 18-6 timer... the fans go all the time. Temps with CO2 should be 85 to 95... I put a 200 watt clear bulb in the regular light fixture in the closet and it keeps it around 90 degrees... humidity is about 50, but I also spray them lightly a couple of times a day. Irony... most growers have to go to great lengths to cool and vent their grow space... God bless LED lights... easy on the electric bill and helicopters can't see a thermal image from hot lamps. Not sure we even have any helicopters here in New Hampshire...probably wouldn't brake out SWAT for my 7 plants. Good luck Bud... let me know how things grow...
