On your question around pollination. Can't say what happened, but since you didn't pollinate, sounds like one or both hermied, that is they were originally female and threw some balls/pollen, maybe late so they didn't pollinate all the bud and you ended up with a few seeds. You have no way of knowing but if they were seeds from a hermie they're probably not stable seeds and you'll end up with more hermies. They'd be fems but more likely to produce more hermie plants. Proper way to make/cross seeds is grow a male, collect the pollen, then pollinate a female around 3 weeks into flowering, that female will produce seeds in its buds and will be a cross of the 2 strains. There's a lot of other things you can do beyond the initial cross but if you're thinking of doing it, you should do some reading/research, there are tons of sites and threads in here with step-by-step directions and pics. It's not difficult at all to make a basic cross but you'll need some pollen so you'd need to grow some reg seeds, get a male and collect some pollen as a first step.
I'd be more concerned with why they hermied and keep an eye on both strains for signs of balls. If they hermie and throw pollen at the right time they could pollinate your whole crop. Free seeds but not the kind of seeds you want. They (or one) may have hemied due to stress and could be just fine if their environment is stable. The flip side is one or both are hermie prone, in which case you'd want to get rid of it.
