first time grow

Ok so i have started my first grow with 8 sprouts out of 30 bag seeds.

I started them in a mixture of

Seedling soil
peat moss
Perlite

It had been about 2 weeks since they first sprouted and am getting impatient with the rate of growth. I have started using seaweed organic liquid about 1/4 per plant.

It has been pretty slow growth rate. There has been alot of wet days with not much sunshine.
Any recommendations to help make these puppies grow would be awsome.

Hi mate and welcome aboard

I would highly recommend carefully! and when i say carefully i mean REALLY CAREFULLY move each one of the spouts in to there own small pot something like a party cup till they have built up a good root system

once they have the growth rate will be a lot faster keep them in the cup for a couple of weeks till you see roots coming out of the bottom if you are going outdoors in the Aussie sun just remember there is around 5 weeks left of veg so they are not going to be huge plants

if you want vegging them in doors till they get nice and big for 2 months then moving them outside to flower would be good just remember as new born don't put them out in the full sun light right away keep them in the shade

then give them a couple of hours a day morning sun is best as it's not that hot and wont cook your girls i would highly recommend not feeding them anything but PH water for now till they are a couple of nodes old

Don't over water and get yourself a mist sprayer to mist the leaves but never mist when under the sun or you will burn the leaves from the sun

i can only recommend what i know and what has worked for me by no means the best way but it works but at the end of the day its up to you and i hope your grow goes well keep us posted

If your unsure of anything just ask there are a lot of good growers on this site but at the same time there are a lot of tools and smart asses so don't let them get you down just ignore them and you will enjoy your stay on the forum

Just keep reading and look at others grow is the best way to learn some times just doing a copy cat of someones grow can give you great success all the best

Yeah man i have already encountered alot of smart asses that make fun of new growers and are really cocky....
I have had alot of success with power feed nutes , but i may of completely fucked one of the plants its leaves are all burnt as.

Is it still revivable or is it completely dead

Yeah sadly it looks like that one is not going to make it but there is always more seeds and more time i don't think it will help as it looks bad but if you flush the shit out of it you never know how about the others... ? are they doing okay..

Ok so just a quick update got 3 plants that are looking nice and healthy. Got a few more nodes coming out.Is it normal for a plant of about 3.5 weeks to be this small ??? Its been kinda wet so havent had many good days with alot of sun.

Looking good mate the thing is the girls are going to start flowering as it comes to the end of summer in aus the days are getting shorter everyday and they notices it a good thing to do is if you want them to stay in veg your going to need to bring them in doors

and put them under a light or you are going to have a really short plant the more light the faster the growth rate will be even if you get something like this

it will do great for veg all the best mate keep us up to date

looks good , my only problem is im worried about electricity going through the roof and air flow of if i brought it inside , i was considering using an old bed side table and making it into a little grow area , with computer fans etc but it is alot of fking around but i will probably have to if i want a decent yield ( hopefully they are girls not even sure yet)

Looking good buddy. The new growth is coming in green and lush and theyre praying to the light. Looking good!

Ok these girls are getting big , the fan leaves are huge. I read somewhere that cutting them a bit will help produce more nodes. Also im unsure about topping as this is my first grow , dont wanna stuff it up. Will start cloning in two weeks or so :D

Looking good mate yeah i think she is ready for a topping below is a photo it's very easy and yes it will help with more tops i like doing it a couple of times so take the top off then wait till you get a couple more nodes then top again will make your plant more bushy

and if your looking to get maximum yield look in to doing some LST
