First time grow, week 2 veg

Certainly looks strong enough, if he replants it deeper and sorts out the lights. I'd try and get the bugger a bit more straight as well, I found that the sticks in sushi rolling mats are perfect for supporting seedlings as they aren't too thick and can be chopped to whatever length needed. And, of course, one rolling mat is hardly expensive so you get a lot of stakes for your buck.

NOTE. This is based on my limited experience, which is based on me having done one which went exactly like that and is now considerably better looking.

Prop the poor thing up with some chopsticks. Is it your only seed? It could be a dude if it's way taller than the others.

Looks good but a bit longer according the 2nd week here is the pic of my plant and is in 5th week it looks a bit short but the stemmarijuana.jpg

is really strong enough to stand well aligned. i took the help of state marijuana dispensaries and they help me in my grow.

Replanted it into a regular pot today and i have it standing straight now, installed some coralite t5s from my old saltwater coral tank (blue and white light) and a fan gently blowing over the top. Checked back on it a couple hours later and the plant is a way nicer shade of green. I do have some more seeds that are germinating and they’re feminized so she should be good. Thanks for all your advice.

image.jpg image.jpgdecided to take some pictures when i woke up this morning, now that i have a grow space set up my next question would be about how many sets of true leaves should I have if i plan on Super Cropping and getting some knuckles before i switch to flower? Strain isn’t an autoflower, which probably would have been way better for a first time grow.

It's looking much better since you potted it up. I would wait till it has about 6 or 7 sets of true leaves and is strong and healthy before super cropping. That soil could have used a little more pearlite in it.Looks like it may pack down hard when it dries out. What kind of nutes you using?

Personally, I would have buried it deeper in the dirt (like I had to with the wee beastie growing just now), and, as a noob meself I question the wisdom of doing an auto "because it's easier" as if something goes wrong then you're kinda screwed as far as recovery goes (as I've also found out the hard way). The one in this post was at least as lanky as yours and, as the thread says, you can CAREFULLY dig her out using your fingers, dig a little deeper and then replant her all the way up to just below the two small leaves and, well, you can see it didn't harm my plant at all. Now she's a "bit" bigger than in the linked post, has been on 12/12 for 2 weeks or so now and I see nothing wrong with her at all as she's still growing, pistils are starting to show, the stem's over 1/4" thick and she's drinking like a Scotsman at a free bar. I maybe lost a few days growth with the replant, but that's really nothing.

I ain't saying you MUST do x, y, or z, just that I know how I screwed up so, personally, I'm tempted to stick with photos until I get my own "system" dialled in and then move back to the autos, but this time with seeds that come from a better source than the smartshop I went to in Roosendaal.

once it grew a little more i planned on adding more dirt because the pot isn’t all the way full just about 3/4 of the way, I have coffee grounds, powdered egg shell and worm castings mixed into it.

Correct me if i’m wrong but with autos you can leave them on 18/6 for they’re entire life cycle right? I think if i plan on buying some seeds I need to change the blue light that i have to be red later on and ween off the nitrogen that i nute with

Bury the bugger now, it'll grow new roots whereas I'd be worried about shocking it when older, I don't like the thought of the dirt going in too fast and breaking the stem. I take the simple way and put the germinated seed straight into the pot it will finish in so there's no chance I can do any damage with my ham-fisted sausage fingers, others think differently but I believe that the less handling and disturbance the better.

You can run autos 24/0 if you want, but, as I found out the hard way, if things go wrong (like suddenly having to spend over a week in hospital) then you can struggle to get things back in order (I didn't).

No idea about light colours like you're talking about, but you'll find the usual with some saying "do this", others saying "do that", others say "do what the plant tells you", and so on. Personally, I'm just going for getting basics right before trying to make things complicated, you gotta learn to walk before you can run and I'm still a toddler.

As I say, I ain't no expert, just passing on experiences from my own screw ups.

I wouldn't go deeper. If its your only plant don't risk rot. Another thing is it looks like its possible getting burned. Is your ph right, also your soils looks way to wet. Air makes roots grow like crazy so don't drowned it.
As for super cropping(referred to as stanced where I'm from) I do it when the bottom branches are at least 6 inches. If you can, don't firm up your stems(wind) until there are bent were you want them. Last one I super cropped was about a year at finish and yielded 6 lbs. This was in ground. Random seed but super cronic.

Bury it dont bury it.

But dont hurt it trying to fix it.
Ive hurt more then ive fixxed doing seedling surgery

I agree your dirt looks like you need to cut it with something.
I also suggest perlite =air...

Bit if you to dig it out youll surely piss it off

Best to just let it go for a few days to 2 weeks.

Then just repot it without disturbing it and it should be fine.

Its true that putting it in a final spot is better then trying to transplant an auto (as im not auto expert).
But at the same time can be a pain to try to water a seedling in a 3 gallon pot as well.

Just leave it alone for at least a week.

Hope this helps

What I've always done, and that's with things other than weed, is that I pour enough water around the seedling to keep things moist but also fill the saucer under the pot. As she grows, the roots develop as normal but you also get the water going "up" into the dirt via capillary action so you don't have everything around the plant soaked to death, and it does encourage the roots to go deeper.

It works for me
