First Time Grow Pineapple Express, Sweet Purple, Bagseed (with pics)

Hey guys this is my second post and first journal! I ordered some feminized pineapple express and some sweet purple from attitude but I decided to start some bagseed while I wait ---> I have a 600w hps with a computer fan mounted on it that I spliced with a cell phone charger to make it run (yeah Macgyver for now). I ordered advanced nutes mother earth super tea grow for veg and sensi bloom a&b for budding. The soil I'm using is fox farm ocean forest and I water with distilled bottled water. My buddy just called me and told me the package arrived at his house yesterday he just "forgot" to tell me haha. I ordered them with a pre-paid visa and put my friends address for shipping. I'm going over to get them now! I'll post pics when I get back.

They're here! I got the pineapple express and the sweet purple! They also threw in a bunch of free seeds like vanilla kush, sharksbreath, pineapple chunk, flower power, rocklock, and lemon skunk! I'm germinating 2 pineapples and 2 sweet purples and I think I'll do a flower power for fun. I have 20 something bagseeders in veg right now, so I'll use those for experimentation and really focus on the pineapple and purple. If I grow the 5 pure strain plants with say 5 or 6 choice bagseed fems how much do you think I'll harvest in dry weight with this setup? I plan to veg them to about 2.5 feet.

you should get a verry healthy harvest...i would have thrown the lemon skunk into germ too

yeah but I wanted to save the real good ones for my second grow so I can learn the ropes a little. I dont want to fuck them up I only have one seed of each except for the pineapple express and the sweet purple. I bought a 5 pack of those. My second grow will be beast.

Pineapple express is a great strain, I grew it my last grow and have another clone grow from it 4 weeks out, it is easy to grow, hard to mess up on it, high yield and potent, plus is smells great after cured
Yield is hard to guess, with the pineaplle express I grew 6 of them along with some other strains, the 6 pineapple express(from clones) yielded 6 oz after cured, but I only vegged 3 weeks from cutting the clones and the plants were just over 2 feet tall(at harvest) and I wasn't using the optimum light, only a 400 watt over them. With more veg time and using bigger pots/lights, those same plants would have easily yielded over a pound. The entire plants were just buds, fem them and you will have really high yields.

Awesome I can't wait! All the seeds were popped today and are in cups right now. They should break the surface tomorrow.

My bagseed plants are in 12/12 right now so I can get rid of all the males. I've got 23 bagseeders and I'm selecting 7 of the best females to grow with the pineapple express and the sweet purple. All 5 good seeds sprouted so I'm working with 2 PEx and 2 SweetP and 1 flower power plus the 7 bagseeders so I'll have 12 total.

Bagseeders are in 64oz cups and a couple are in my 3gals because I ran out of cups --> kinda sloppy right now but I'm getting things organized once I find my females. I just bought a 3 bed house and it's just me and my girl living here so I'm making one room a veg room and the other one is the budding room.

I'm selling some of this crop and I'm buying a MH or a bunch of cfl's for the VEG room, charcoal filter, inline fan, a bunch more nutrients, and I think I'm gunna switch to hydro for my second grow and do two of these --> http://vodpod.com/watch/673156-do-it-yourself-hydroponics-system side by side in the budding room. I was just checking out the room they're in now and I think I'll just divide it in 2 with some blankets tacked to the ceiling with some wood strips. No need to take up 2 rooms.

From what I've heard it does beautifully! I can't wait either.

Plants are lookin good. They've been in 12/12 for 4 days now but no signs of sex yet. A couple are getting pretty stinky though. They are LOVING the nutes! I'll post pics when the lights come on today.

Glad to hear everything is going good. I just harvested some of my PE, check out my second journal if your curious to see how massive the buds can get. You will learned as I did bagseed are straitup a waste of time. Get yourself some mothers if you have too, but focus on growing only ordered strains/known good clones in the future imo. Bagseed always seems to take a extra week or two, the buds are never as tight or beautiful and most of the smoke they make is 'good mids' or 'bad chronic' at best. They are fun to hack away on and learn stuff tho, keep up the good work.
