First time grow, ( can i get some opinions on headband)

OK guys, this is my first time ever trying to grow anything, I started some headband from seed, I started them using cfls then I bought a sun system 150w hps, they seem to be growing good, the first transplant I buried five inches of the stem, the leaves of the plants are huge, lots of foliage, not even two weeks after transplant the roots were already bound in the 2 gallon pot, so yesterday I transplanted them into five gallon pots, they seem a lil droopy ( that's how I noticed that they were getting root bound, it's been two days since transplant and they still seem a lil droopy, is that because of the huge leaves being heavy?

They might be a bit over-watered....burying the stem is fine. They seem
to be doing OK. I think that you just need to let them be, to dry out a bit,
and then see how they look.

The soil don't seem to damp

You'll be alright. Less is more, easy to think you see something wrong when you are always peeking in the garden lol.

Use weight to judge the level of moisture. 714 is right. :0)

Yes that's my problem haha I peep them atleast five times a day lmao, it's a goodthing, but is bad at the same time

they seem happy now, but I did notice on the tips of the new growth are yellow, and they kinda canoe a lil, any ideas?

Am I giving them too much light, I have been keeping my 150w hps and two led cfls on the at all times, should I change to 18/6? I plan on starting flowering in a few weeks

I fimmed the tops of them, looks like a few more colas

It was probably transplant shock.
What makes you think they were root bound when you potted up to 5gal pots?

how close is your light? is the new growth coming in as yellow or turning yellow?

My lights are about a foot away

look pretty good and healthy, probably just a result of the transplant as corey stated and should rebound from the transplant in a few days time. Next watering you could water around the outer edge of the container and make the roots expand in their search for water.
