I doubt the roots have descended into the nutrient solution. You'll need to water from the top. I wouldn't add any nutrients this young.

the roots are in the solution by about 5-6 inches and as far as i know the rhizo is a additive since adding to the solution ec is at 0.1 ph is at 5.3 which is fine according to the manufaturers guidelines

yeah started in 1 inch rockwool cubes and generally have my pH at 5.5 and allow some sway i moved it a couple more inches away from the light and seems to have perked up a little

So the water is at like 5.5 to 5.8 correct? You running canna nutes? Wahats the temp of water in the res? Should be 68-70 F is it a bubbler ie air stone type setup? The plastic bag needs to go as its gonna hold in to much moisture and you ll get root rot or mold going so do that asap. You have a fan on them yet? should be running nutes at 1/4 strength as the plant will need to eat if the roots have formed.

replaced the bag with perlite not great i know but all i have never been able to check rez temps but my clones are in the same place and there perfect no fan yet on my to get list and its rounded leaves are still green so its not ready for nutes but did put 1/4 strenth rhizotonic as its a additive i added it about 3 days ago now

Feed your plant man at the proper PH 5.8 at this small point. They don't need Mn this small. What they do need is something to eat.

Your feed should be .4EC at this stage. Don't listen to the guy saying plants don't need food this early.

My cotyledons (rounded leaves as you call em) are still green and intact on plants finishing flower.

Trust me, most of my issues went away when I started feeding my plants, my plants would look like that for a long time when I first started, kept hearing the same BS plants don't need food at this stage. They don't need a lot, but they need something. My plants take off like rockets now. Start all my seeds with .1-.2EC of nutrients.

Get some feed in there now and try and save that plant.

Oh and ditch rockwool, some people get it working good for them, but why? I clone and start seeds in an aerocloner I built. Best $25 spent, 100% clone rate. Just recently started doing seeds in it with great success.

Use the paper towel method to germ them and get their root tail long enough (1 inch) take the seed part and stick it on the outside of a neoprene sleeve and snake the root tail so it sticking out the other side. Use the thin 1/4-1/3 inch thick sleeves.

No rockwool to buy, so long as the stalk didn't get too wide the neoprene is reusable and so is the netpot.

I use 2" diameter netpots and sleeves. Works pisser.

Do you put Hydroton in the 2" net pots? I'm assuming you transplant into a larger net pot for veg/bloom.

You can leave it in the 2" pot until you harvest it and you dont need any hydroton. Its a lot less stuff to buy and less transplanting. This is how i do my clones but i still use rockwoll for the seeds.

No I cut out the bottoms of the netpots so roots dont get tangled and just use em like collars.

When plants get too big they fall over so youl wanna move out of them. I have a plant in flower now that has a massive bend in the main stalk from falling over and trying to reach the light still.

I tried cutting the bottoms out once but the plant slipped through the collar and the bottom of the stalk dropped into the bucket, it got kind of messy. They do get kind of top heavy in the little pots. I use tomato cages to hold them up straight.

Thats a good idea. I've thought of some stabilizer, superstoner uses netcups 2" throughout he says. Mine got too top heavy.

Thats odd the falling out. Mine stay nice and firm inside the neoprene.

Do you use new collars everytime? The stalk stretches out the neoprene after one grow and its pretty much useless at that point.

Cotyledons are supposed to naturally dry up and flake off if you veg out the plant more than 3 weeks. #FactualFact

It's extremely factual. You ever see a big plant with a fat stalk and little cotyledons at the bottom of it?

I have to try popping some seeds in my aerocloner. I would usually start them in soiless mix, get some roots, wash them off and stick them in 2" netpot. I grow in 2" netpot all the way to finish. Screen holds them in place
