Something I saw in some grow videos on Youtube. The dude grows coco, hempy buckets, Smart Pots Wally World air pots, does it all. His coco he feeds from day 1 FB Bloom and Cal Mag Plus, feeds daily until runoff . I've been feeding my white widow the same formula in coco, doing beautifully until the broad mites struck. They just started making new white thistles on the fucked up buds. But the feeding regiment works for me. Grow Pot Cheaply, check it out...

Ok guys, here's my little girls at day 17. I think they are puny. Maybe the feeding isn't enough for them, nutes too weak? I'm gunna kick it up a notch this gallon. Maybe I'm not giving them enough amount wise, they are getting about 8 ozs a day.. Maybe I'm being a little too anxious??? My Purple Afghan reg is getting to look better, the White Widows are ruined from the broad mites but hey, it will make something to smoke to get ya thru the hard time.... Still waitin on Herbies for my Dutch Passions.... Gunna holler at em today...

They are tiny for 17 days aye... if they are no bigger come day 21 there is a problem. My girls were like a shrub at 17 days. My girls are good today.. day 51.20150828_125559.jpg

That's what I'm thinking. I might have fucked this coco all up. Nutes too weak I believe. I have enough lights, 3 105 watt clfs, 310 watts or am I missing something? Temps never over 81° and humidity at 50-60%. They just are puny little things, no meat. I am running light 24 straight...:wall:

Just mixed a batch of food. 1 tsp FlovaNova Bloom, 1 Ml CalMag Plus to 1 gal of well water. Ph'd to 5.8. Was feeding 3 tsp FN. 5 ml CM+ to 5 gl RO water.... This should last 3 days... we shall see...

Im a little bit put off by coco... its like, not quite soil and not quite dwc. Its its own entity, hence all the coco hydro nute products. I think you should try working in litres also. Its easier and more accurate when mixing feeds and dosage.

60% neutral (baked) soil, 20% perlite and 20% coco peat mixed well and soaked prior use makes a very happy environment that has next to no nutes in it to start so you control everything your plants ingest.

Pic 1 2Fast 2 Vast. picked up another set of leaves of leaves but still 3 finger Seems th be trying to get thicker atr the stem, still a skeeter leg.
Pic 2 Cash Crop. She shot up a little and a wider
Pic 3 Freeze Berry is looking fine but to me all three still midgets
Pic 4 Just a shot for size reference.

I want some broad leaves, thick stems and noticeable growth. I think they were not getting enough from the formula I was on. Bumping it and the amount up made a difference.. The next few days will tell me lot. I may still be able to catch up when I put em under my 1000w hp, Hell I may pick up another ballast by then and will be running 2 1000w's. I can run a 400w along with the 1000 right now just have to hang it, Probably Friday my next day off... Still kickin this formula around. I have Fox Farm Grow Big and Big Bloom, I have FloraNova MicroGrow, Bloom, Grow, BotniCare Pro Blend, shit I have nutes for a bunch of suppliers. Still trying to dial one in. I am learning lessons every grow. I am learning it s the little things like checking you ph every days before you feed em. That shit will rise on ya in a heart beat....:weed:

Looks great! Are you wetting the entire soil/medium? Iv never grown in coco that stuffs expensive compared to peat. I'm gonna check out your source too!

Genetics, don't worry. It depends on the parent stocks. Alot of breeders are making stealthy seeds that don't grow higher than uncut grass. You're expected to know that (which you won't).

Did a little LST on em and they have grown a bit. Put em the big room now and there is where the magic will happen. Running a shitload of clf's since my 400 ballast took a dive. Gunna have to wait, its opener of Teal this weekend coming up and I have a real bad quack habit, They still don't give away shotgun shells and federal ducks stamps. All that went way up this year. Here's a pic of the girls, all of em..The first 2 are getting bigger, new leaves have 5 fingers now. I think they may start growing fast.

iHearAll I give em each a little less than half a pint and pour it around the outside of the plant but not all the way to the edge of the bucket. The buckets are starting to gain a little weight now and before long I will start feeding until I see some runoff. That's how I have always did coco. My hempy's hold right about a qt of feed in the bottom before it runs out. I will start increasing the feed amount this week. I am sure they have good roots by now. Just have to figure how much they eat.

I had the light a 4" or 5" inches off the girls, at the time there was (6) 27w clfs and the temps was hitting 84°. I changes to the 3 105w clfs and it dropped to 86° added a fan but still not enough. thought abut how some hoods have glass, had a glass coffee table and tried it. It lowered the temps to 75°-79°. Moves things around in the room and set em up where the bigger fan is sort of blowing across the ac vent on the floor and now we are running 76°... I am always looking to improve my germination room. :weed:
the glass that you see on reflectors is so that it stays air tight that way when your exhaust fan is sucking thru the hoods it wont lose pressure. In general the glass is not good. I would definitely take the glass out considering those 6 lights equal around 2 t5 bulbs

The glass is gone and the set up changed. They are all in my big grow (10' x 10') room now... much better...
