The flushing problems I had came from trying to flush the medium during the grow, because of the way the pots work, excess salts are pushed to the top where they can't do any harm, so now I'm just leaving them. They are gravity fed from the rest, I'll normally turn the valve off for two days, then on again for a day, it's worked pretty well.

I've never used organics, but it's been on my to do list for awhile.

They were flowering for 66 days, I left them for about a week too long cause I'm lazy, I really need to buy a trimmer, haha.
Are they White Widows?

I want to ask you did you use coco in your autopots? Also what nutrients are coco specific that you used with your white widow grow?

Oh I see you mean you poured water thru the top when you were flushing but that caused you problems. I used bottom feeding pots for 2 grows, I flush by just giving them water only but still from the bottom the last 2 weeks. I just chopped my WW's last night. I'm disinfecting my tent so I can set up my new pots. Cutting hoses and lowering my scrog net. I will start my new journal and post pictures when I get it setup.

wow, good eye
Dude I just ordered 4 more XL AutoPots, and got a great deal and some free stuff to try out. They are sending me 4 air domes to use at the roots, since I have 4 pots that don't have them and 4 that do I will be able to document the difference in plant growth between the two. Wow I'm excited I sort of have a sponsor now, I'm gonna make a video setting them up next week and post pictures. This is gonna turn out to be a lot of fun.

OOPS! Lol I"m sorry about that but you and miccy are my only bro's here so I get mixed up sometimes with the threads. Its always good to hear from you as well. I just got done with my 4 White Widow's I was growing, I can tell its gonna be some killer smoke. I also bought 4 more XL Autopots to go with the ones I got last month. I'm gonna model my journal after Miccy's since its my first journal. I'm very excited, its a small grow compared to his because I will only have 8 pots that are 6.6 gal. I will be upgrading my equipment as well. I figure its gonna take me about 2 weeks to get my nutrients and 2 new 6" reflector's, a new 6" 400 cfm inline fan and tallboy filter. I have a 33 gal flex tank reservoir and already ran my 1/2'' hose and setup my 1/2'' - 1/4'' tees inside my 4x8 tent. I will be using airdomes inside of 4 of the pots so I can compare the difference in growth with the 4 without. This will be my 4th grow, I get a little better with each grow. So I'm hoping I get bigger buds and more GW. If you don't mind me asking what strain will you be growing next.

My friend wants to give me a single "church clone and three blue mystic's, but I'm thinking about ordering a pack of feminized seeds of master kush and bubblelicious from nirvana. I've heard a lot of good things about those strains. I've been searching the internet looking for promo codes to get a discount but can't find any. I have to try and save where ever I can, this is an expensive hobby I might add. Especially the nutrients.

Man this is one awesome journal Miccy!!! Great build on the room and nice to see somebody actually using these Autopots. I found out about them when reading a grow book back in high school 8-10 years ago lol. I've always wanted to use them but once I saw you needed a res I didn't wanna fool with it. I was young and was just doing soil grows with ease and didn't wanna get into using nutes and all; bought soil with nutes in it.

Now I've made the jump to hydro I could see myself using these but wish they made them in 10 or 15 gallon pots. I don't like a lot of plant numbers so I cant be perpetual so I grow big plants and get my yields from it. If I had the space Miccy has I would only do maybe 4-6 plants and get 10lbs but would have to veg clones at least 8 weeks to get to the size to be able to use the spread of the lights. Will be moving early next year so I'm hoping for space like this. Mrs complains about it but 1st one to wanna smoke lol. Will def continue to watch this and hopefully Miccy can achieve the yields he would like to

That's wassup bro congrats and happy growing. Almost 7 gallons isn't bad but it's not big enough for what I wanna do but could work out tho in being more perpetual. Let me know when you get the journal started I'll def be watching. Peace

Hey Miccy you didn't answer somebody's question and I wanted to know the answer to it too. Why do you turn the auto feed valve off for a couple days? Does it overwater if you leave the valve on? I thought you wouldn't have to worry about that as it's controlled by the valve and how dry the medium gets.

In not miccy but I think it's a bit like a soil grow water regime no timers no pumps just gravity and water on water off (with nuites)controller by a simple tap could b wrong miccys the only one that can truthfully answer it but that's how it looks like it works to me....
