Speed is my second priority behind quality, so I'm doing what I can for a quick harvest. In Veg, I'm running about 1300ppm cO2, and I bump it up a little switch to flower. The room is 100% air tight and gas fed from a bottle (which lasts quite a long time at the moment) so I try not to go in there very often to stop gas escaping through the open door. Gas levels are handled by a controller.

I can't really add a heater because the AC will just compensate for the extra heat, 30° isn't so bad, just not where I would like it is all.

Nah im not bashing on the thinning lol i do it too. Yup thats a good root stim for sure. I have to ask, whats with the burlap over the medium? I would think it doesnt allow the soil to dry up as quickly and may make things damp...i always found when my soil goes wet to very dry is when i see my most explosive growth. The roots love to stretch downwards trying to pull anything they can get. If it was up to me, ditch it.

That's actually an experiment I'm doing, the manufacturer of the pots recommends mulching to stop excess evaporation, so I've got them on about half the room with them on to see if it makes a difference.

Wots the verdict on the Hessian cloth coverings working better than those not covered any difference?
It's tough to say, it appears that the rez on the side that is covered is dropping a little slower, but not enough to say their is a real benefit, I guess I'm still undecided.
