REALY REALY BAD NEWS
i know noone wants to here this but my plants are DEAD all of them i thimk that they where underwatered. its just me on this grow and i worked an extra shif last night when i came home they were weeping and the rockwool was realy dry
i thought i said that i should have put them in soil untill i get a ppm meter DAMN
its not to late to start over but i dont know when i dont think that im going to do hydro next time to many things to have to keep in check
keeping it extra real for all that i investing in this shit i couldve of just bought a pound of reg and been happy
all that maintance buying equipment waiting waiting waiting and waiting 3-4 month all that just to havest less then 1-2oz to find out you have to wait 2 more months to cure then you can smoke maybe if you didnt fuck that up
all the time still buying weed might i add
i can till you now RIU members unless your going to harvest 6oz dry min. its not worth growing your own stash
why 6 oz you maybe asking youself hay i can only speck for me. you have to know your habit. i smoke about a blunt a day maybe less so 6 oz i could make last till next harvet if i could harvest every 4 month
a nice blunt should weight 3-5 g and i not real going to smoke my own stash everydaybut i could budget about 1-2 oz a month if i had to . but know that i think of it i may smoke an oz a week

Hey dude I don't know how you did that rep thing on my page but thanks. Your journal's great.
I've seen some problems too and it sucks I know. But stick with it man. You had the ingenuity and motivation to build yourself that setup so I know you're not gonna feel right till you get it to pay off. You just gotta jump back on that horse and maybe take it a bit further, at a pace that fits your budget of course.
I think one guy mentioned something about more venting holes, and an exhaust fan would be great if your room is too hot. You might be able to pick up an AC on craigslist or what not for pretty cheap (Proly at least 100 in the store so... maybe somewhere in the 40-60 range). Put it in your window and turn it just high enough to keep it under 80F at the hottest time of day so you save on electric costs. A cheap window lock bought from home depot for proly 5 bucks could save your investments from neighborhood kids who catch a wiff of the vapors. HID lights (hps or mh) are really hot so that's something to think about.
You've already got this stuff and it wouldn't be a waste to use it to get some free/cheap buds and some knowledge about growing and have a hobby that "brings peace to your soul," shit we smoke enough of the stuff we might as well learn how it grows (and how it works). Even if we fuck up five more times it won't be a waste because we will have learned about several different kinds of problems and what does, and does not work to treat them. I know I'll never use a bug bomb on my tiny setup again.
