First PC Easy Ryder Grow

2013-02-22 02.21.33.jpg

Growing a little bigger every day. No problems or complications so everything is going well. Since I think it is getting about that time as you can see from the pic I switched one of the lights so now there is more light in the red spectrum than blue. I still have one blue light to keep it somewhat balanced though.

Is that an auto or are you doing 12/12 from seed? Cause I swear those are pistils already....

It might not be the healthiest plant but at least I didn't kill it. It doesn't bother me too much though as I am sure with experience I will do better. I planted a BlimBurn Super Automatic fem in another pot next to the Easy Ryder so when it finishes there will be another one to tend to. I used some different soil this time to test out as well so we will see what happens. Here are two pics of the Easy Ryder.

In that last pic how old is your plant from seed because I got the same setup and my plant looks like the first pictures you put out and its at ten days only a bag seed tho

Mine started out really slow and didn't grow incredibly big even for an easy ryder but I am a first timer here. If it is bag seed I am not sure it would be good to compare growth speed because it is probably a different strain. Here are some updated pics though.

The carbon filter is just some cut to fit carbon filter I bought online. You can cut a piece of it the size of the exhaust fan and place it over the inside with tape. I bought a plastic dust filter for the fan but never got around to putting it on. Gorilla tape works fine though because when it gets dust and needs to be changed it is quick and easy to do. The thick carbon filter cuts out on a lot of the light that escapes too but if the fan is not strong enough it may be a problem with heat so you have to monitor it.

Sadly Yes, I don't really know what it was that made it so small. My guess is the soil was not quite right.

I am starting another one in a different kind of soil and it is a different strain as well. I also have three I am starting for a few weeks in the PC case and then going to transfer them outside.

The three cups have those soil disk in them and I will transfer them when they finish sprouting and get big enough to go out.
