First Outdoor Grow Wrapping Up

Did my first outdoor grow this year here in Central New York. I live in a city and have really close neighbors, and no fence... so I was a bit worried about theft, and my next door neighbors' lawn people seemed to be taking an interest in my plants the last couple of times they came by. But it was ok... felt a little better about it since my neighbors two doors down on either side were also growing.

I did three plants, two Copa Turkish Twist, and a Sunshine Daydream F2, in one of my raised garden beds, it's south facing, but gets a bit of afternoon shade from a big tree, so not the best sun. Pretty much hands off, amended the soil in the spring, topped them once to keep them low, watered a bit when it was really hot, fed couple of handfuls of Jack's Bloom Booster a couple weeks into flower, and that was about it.

Reasonably happy with the results, though, if I was really working an indoor grow I could have produced more in less time. But, the only real cost here was worrying about someone stealing them, and not using that bed for anything else. Well, I actually I planted runner beans in there too, thinking that the nitrogen would help, but the deer destroyed them... it seemed to be working pretty well for both plants for a while, though

Unfortunately I don't have any good pics of the grow in progress, it was hard to get wide shots with the anti-deer measures. But here's a few of it wrapping up. The last week and a half here has been really rainy and damp, and there's more rain in the forecast. I wanted to get things down before I ran into any real problems. As of Friday, the Turkish Twist seemed to have about 90% cloudy trichs, but no amber yet, but I cut them both today anyway, one little spot of bud-rot that I noticed and cut out. But everything else looks pretty good, and dense, has a very sharp tart smell to it.

The Sunshine Daydream seemed to be a little spindly in veg, but has been looking better. Picking up a bit of color, but it still needs a bit of time to finish. I did cut out one little spot of rot, I'll need to keep an eye on it.

Here's a couple of the TT the last couple of weeks:

And a couple of the TT today after I cut it... gotta do some trimming in the next couple of days when I have the time, but it's hanging in the attic with a fan on it trying to make sure that the last week or so of rain doesn't cause mold problems (my hand for scale... I have pretty big hands):

And here's a few of the SSDD that's still out finishing up:

You mostly get flames on the internet.

Nice grow
I am downstate been harvesting one of my plants over the last two weeks. 8 foot tall plant is hard to cut and hang upside down.
I have a bunch of small buds I left on plant will harvest them before frost.
Worried a lot about theft, many moons ago just as the plant was getting to harvest time it disappeared.

Nice grow! Deer got mine last year. Bastards chewed everything up and spit it on the ground. Still smoked it lol. Put up a fence this year. Lots of work doing it alone, but well worth the effort. They didn't get a nibble this year.

Hope you get wrecked :eyesmoke:
