I will mother and take some cuts. I want to scrog my mother in the top of my cab and a Sog in the bottom half with the cuts, probably veg the cuts for 2 weeks then flip them. Will make sure to keep a clone in veg to replace my mother since i plan on flipping her at the same time i flip the cuts...

using only 220 watts i would scrog to make the best of it. just remember them 55's get hot, and i believe you could do better with a good group of 23 watt bulbs. i got 4 55 watt and 1 42 watt 2700k cfls and all are ge. when they burn out, that will be the end of them. the last all cfl grow i did was around 500 watts.

I was hoping the 55's would produce denser buds using less bulbs....need more Y-splitters and sockets !

the problem is the heat the bigger bulbs put out. i also don't believe the light produced from the bigger bulbs is as good as the 23 watts bulbs. i have a few 23's as well as a 100 watt hps and leds in my box and i'm going by way of lad and hid from here on. i'll still use a few cfls for veg but not for flower. if you haven't got your bulbs yet, look in the sub forums in the indoor growing and go to leds. look for a thread by captianmorgan called flowering under house hold leds. after you read that cfl may not be the thing for you. less power and less heat. the light penetrates a lot better too.
