First indoor grow...300w cfl

Sorry guys I've been slacking on my journal the last couple weeks...anyways here are some updated pics. They are at day 25 of 12/12...plant 2

Day 29 of 12/12... some close ups using my ole trusty 6mp camera on my 2013 model smart phone lol still pretty either way IMO

I also added 5 homemade beer can reflectors, fresh off the assembly line lol three 12oz that fit 23 w cfls perfectly, one 24oz and one 16oz that both worked out great for a couple of my 42 watt bulbs...here is a pic of one of the 12oz...I'll be making more in the future for sure! Tested it holding a bulb a couple feet away from my bedroom wall which is white and it made a very noticeable difference with the reflector on vs without a reflector

Came across a 16inch×25ft roll of "reflectix" roll insulation at lowes for my grow cab...on clearance for 14$...I'll put more pics up after installation

And the mylar is installed! Made a huge difference vs the flat white it was painted IMO! Here's a few pics... it only rose my temperature about 2 degrees, I was running about 77-78 on aberage now she's running around 79-80...so I'm def cool with that

i am trust me ahaha every post you make i look at it btw nice work on the reflectors i got those too on my grow if i had suggestion to make it would be, cut those bottom tops before you put them in flowering u will end up with many popcorn buds which areless pleasant then those dense ones, your plant is giving energy to those popcorn buds but if you cut those bottom tops off before they buds they will investthat energy else where mostly on the heads if you cprrectly cuttoff all the bottom useless tops now its late but for the second grow

Thanks alot bro! and yeah i agree man, i wish I'd kept all the small undergrowth trimmed down...learned a lesson for sure! Can't wait for these girls to finish, and can't wait to try another grow! I have 2 blueberry kush seeds, one xj-13, and one afgoo I'm gonna try next round...they are all seeds I've got lucky and found in some bud I've purchased. I'd be happy for 2 out of the 4 seeds to be female!

my pleasure i am myself working on a 300w cfl grow so I feel like this thread is very nice to have an eye on Sweeet would love to see how the xj-13 goes ! and also about the white paint i never answered you, if im right, white paint needs a primer to nake it reflective the paint it self being mat doesn't reflect light maybe im wrong but I recall a friend talking to me about that I look arround see if i can confirm this by few people !

Hmm you could be correct, I gotta say I'm pretty pleased with the mylar... it really brightened up my cab. Do you have a grow journal going bro? I'd love to see your grow

I really wanna do a scrog next go round... I feel like that would be the best way to maximize my grow space and light power. Whatcha think?

I've also thought about trying like a 6 or 8 plant 12/12 from seed grow and just become a perpetual grower...then I could have a decent harvest every 10-12 weeks! Just some different thoughts that have been running through my head... feel free to throw all the suggestions/comments my way that you'd like

heres my journal link right now they are on day 4 of flower there about 2 feet tall so i expect them to get quite big... the strain is pure power plant i vegged them for quite a while, over a month, but they were pretty tromatised when i got them first... if you got any advice pls be my guest ! and yes i also thought about scrog setup but i decided i wouldnt do that hecause ppp seems to be a plant that enjoys topping and bottom cut but it also seems to enjoy being left alone... I feel its the kind that does best by itself without me working on it too much but it still doesn't mean i won't try it one day with a dtrain i know reacts nice to it so maybe search on tbose strains you hage you might find out if one reacts better than another ! happeh smocking !
