First Grow T5 Cfl DIY Low Budget

I feel like shit is coming together its nice, all in all i think I'm still under 500$ on the grow. i have about 10 more cfls i could add to veg room 23w 6500ks when they start getting bigger. This is too much fun I Gotttta expand while I can haha GF still isn't as in to it as me
do any of you men have tips on the wives? to get them more into it ha ?

lie to them about how much shit costs and pay the electric bill before they see it HAHAHA.

my gf isnt into it either but she realizes it saves us alot of money and while she dosent participate in the growing i do make that bitch trim.

haha thats what I'm saying ill just make her trim it all i guess i know she will be stoked on the end product, i feel like its an obsession for me though i want to produce results. Looking into 2wk harvest variable SoG DWCs i think I'm gonna do 16 plants that just developed nice roots and make a tote to go in flower room. Put 4 new ones in every 2 weeks so by the time i put last 4 in I take 4 out n so on.
has anyone ever tried 2 hours on 1 hour off for the entire 24 hr cycle? or variables 3/1 for 24 you would get light 75% of time idk just a thought I'm not gonna try it but was brainstorming new ways. The plant i think that is going to yield better that i have is like 2 ft tall has 15 heads, purple stems so mostly saliva I'm guessing

around how much do you yield usually off 2- 3ft tall plant 30-60 day veg times
what do you yield off of SoG style grows per plant with no veg time usually?

i never tried that type of light schedule.

some people are into growing some are not. I also maintain a large veggie garden every year as well as flower beds, my wife...could be bothered. she sometimes goes out and weeds but if it were up to her they would never get started in the first place.

i just got a bunch of herbs last night i germinated themn then i put them in soil in ice cube trays labeled haha. Im trying out sage, parsley, chives and garlic chives, coriander and a few others. I just started getting into the growing things i usually get super into something and lose interest but not this haha also just ordered a jiracho rose jaricho maybe idk how to spell it but there fuckin awesome only 7$ on amazon will literally live forever

trying to get her into it haha ill post pictures soon once they sprout and keep updating that as well till harvest

Started germinating in tap water:
1 x FEM DRAGONSBREATH
1 x FEM SUPER SILVER HAZE
2 x REG SLEESTACK SKUNK
figure I'm gonna start a grow journal on those ones but ill keep this thread going till my first harvest
gonna be lame af pulling the skunk males out prob won't be female and just the headache its gonna add too having males idk if i even want to pursue them

and after adding clones to bubble cloner, huge results new roots longer then the prior ones maybe its the ph pen i got too

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF YOU CAN CALIBRATE YOUR PH PEN WITH THE PACKETS THEY GIVE YOU IN REGULAR TAP WATER?
cause thats what i did idk if its off or not but there is improvement at 5.5 ph

started flowering on 8/10 heres how there doing

another clone made it so thats 2 out of bout 15 for my first time haha

and the sleestack skunk popped through, i think the other one died it dried out last night in the rock wool i gave it water but it fell over.

my FEMALE seeds are yet to pop kinda lame but oh well only good thoughts gonna put those in the other tote DWC

Vegging plant doing ok slight discoloration of roots doesn't smell too bad
id say 3 weeks away on the smaller plant my dog chewed off the top but damn these bottom nugs be banana clips no cause of it other plant is ridiculously behind still shooting white hairs no bud formation

my results aren't bad but definitely gonna veg longer only using half of my grow space... need more plants too this lil bubbler aint working for shit for clones, welp off to change out the rezs

This ones turning into a Monster! First Grow coming to an End! 2-3 more weeks will have final product in flower will post pics thinking ill clone 3 clones off this one every sunday and send it to flower once its huge

Spider Mites are back in flowering room fuckin pissed the ladies are like 5 weeks into flower, i cut off like all the fan leaves just to get rid of the eggs and used tissue to wipe azamax onto the remaining leaves, how many spider mites would ruin/ make harvest nasty. there not to the point of establishing webs they keep trying though i vacuumed a bunch up yesterday with a tiny little attachment being sure to avoid trichs... idk what to do probably just gonna say fuckit let it go but it may spread to other plants if it hasn't already these plants have had problems with mites the whole time came from outdoor my dummy brother gave me monster mites

mites receded won that battle but there still stomping me on the war.

Buy yourself some neem oil or chrysanthemum oil and spray them and end your war.
They look nice for your first go.

Couple more weeks and your should be very proud

Of ya i have to ask where did u hear about the 24/4 light period cus id really love an extra 4 hours in my day too lmfao.

i just use azamax up until flower, haha neem smells i don't want that on my nugs and good job on finding an error hats off to ya
