First grow sh!t show

This will be my first grow. April 26th I received my first book and seed package from the crop Kings. After reading the book that night. The following morning I bought from my local retailer the supplies I figured I'd need for a basic set up.

White black poly and duct tape.
6" Inline fan and ducting
Carbon filter 36"
3 600w ballast from China called iponiczone.
3 cooltube large hoods
2 plantmax metal halide sky blue bulbs.
I was given 3 iponiczone MH but they look cheap.
I bought two 200w CFLs sunblaster 6000
I got talked into purchasing a Medi kit from Green planet
Root builder, terpinator, ocean magic, superthrive, up and down and optic foliars overgrow.
35 jiffy starters and various size pots.
I bought a product called sea soil. That i later changed out to promix HPCC
I got some posters and stickers 4 free geopots free exhale co2 bag and a free 9 seed pack from kannabia seed company for the one store purchase.

I got home and went to work. Setting up two rooms at the old farm.

That night I soaked all the seeds. Which at this moment I kind of regret hahaha.

You are well on your way to doing it right! When done right - I get twice the yield... Happy farmying an welcome to RIU!

I potted the jiffys after 10 days in the incubator, into small jiffy junk containers. I originally planted these all straight into sea soil with no perlite .. It was a terrible mistake and the medium became a dense mud. At this point I was already considering using terpinator. Lol

This photo would be day 20 I really noticed the mud I planted these into was effecting the growth. I planned to repot the following weekend. at this point I was using one 600w MH set at 50%. And was keeping the room at optimum moisture levels. I was also getting the swing of watering. Probably over did it a few time.

The first photo is 5 days after I repotted them in the promix with one gallon pots. I superthrived them and added rootbuilder to the soil the same day I transferred them. The second photo is 5 days after the first. Loved the growth. Just what I wanted to see. The third photo is 5 days after that. I was impressed. I started feeding them the nutrients. Medi one and terpinator and switched between foliar feeding ocean magic and overgrow. I was aerating the water and ph d properly.

Some people who use Superthrive use it only during vegetation period. I bought a gallon of it when I retired and was stocking up on nutrients. I over used it many years ago. Now I use it sparingly during veg period only.

I sexed my 4 mighty mites and found out 3 of them are male. I got the knife out and cut one up as practice. I'll probably relocate the three may 22nd down by the ol boat shack. I'll need some pollen from these fast growing sons of b!tches. I spilt some nutrient water on the leaves and didn't rinse . teach him a lesson for being alive..he recovered nicely over the next few days

Last night being the 36th day from seed I added another 600w to the 5x5 starter room. So in total their is 2x600w at full power and 2 200w CFLs. I am feeding green planet nutrients in full dose to the recommended age and I started a exhale co2 bag.
Ill need to prepare to repot these lady's into 3 gallons next week. 15 of them are autoflowers. I may leave them in the one gallons just to keep my imprint down and focus my attention and total imprint on the 10 green crack females. And the 10 CBD Dutch treat .
I'll do some research seek advice and decide if I want to mainline or scrog or something. I have a full 5x7 room empty and available. I need to update my reservoir since it's a mop bucket. And figure out how to filter the smell being drawn from this running a/c unit thats going to become a problem.

It's been really fun and educational and I couldn't have gotten this far without the website and everyone else here journalling and teaching us the trade. Big thanks to everyone and rollitup.org.

I found a beautiful mutation in an auto flower low flyer. There is also one plant that stands out from the rest with its unusual yellow top growth. It is also the smallest slowest growing of the group. It is suppose to be a green crack
Nice set up. That yellowing on the top growth looks like an iron deficiency! Keep an eye on here. If it gets worse ajust your PH

Good luck with the grow
