First Grow: SEPA

So this is my first attempt at growing.

I started about 4 days ago, with a bunch of assorted seeds that my friends had accumulated over the past few weeks.

Anyways, they are mostly generic mid seeds, a lot from "City green".

So i had them germinating in paper towels, and about 90% started to sprout, now i have several sprouts started in quart size paint cans. I was planning on putting them outdoors planted for good within the next 2 weeks weather dependant.

I'll post some pics shortly.

But i had a question

Several of my sprouts have a purpleish stem. One has a pure white stem. Does that mean anything at all?

Hopefully i have some nice results in coming time!

Color this early really doesnt matter or tell you anything ..when full leaves start to form you will see different traits...

and yes i know they are just little sprouts, but they have been growing rapidly :) hopefully they start taking off soon, so i can plant them outside, then top them once before flowering starts

they should be ok... make sure you have drain holes in those cans and the lip on the top of the cans are going to make it hard to get them out!
