Dude I have a total of twenty bulbs at this point. I started with 6 6500k with the sprout and was able to maintain temp. I think 2 23w 6500k and 1 2700k for each seedling is sufficient for now. You just add more as it gets bigger. Just figure out the temp brooooo. Humidifier next to the intake should be good, spritz em every once in a while!

Really you could use one bulb per seedling right now, jist add as many lights as you can while maintaining and keeping control of the temp.

Hey man I'm no expert but based on my own experience ( almost done with my 3rd grow ) you don't really need to have that much light at this stage . Just 1 23watt bulb would be enough for that little burnt plant for now . giving her 2x42watts is an overkill . same goes for when you get your sprouts. if you got 4 of them put like 3-4 23watt bulbs ( mix the spectrum if you like ) and add more light as they grow. Meanwhile try to figure out your ventilation issue. If your vent isn't sufficient CFL's are more then capable of frying your plant ( also based on own exp )
good luck with new seedlings

I sprouted 2 seeds under single 23watt bulb for ea. see red circles.

Bro, awesome setup. Ive harvested my first CFL Rubbermaid grow (Critictal Mass x Jack Herer) Feminized Auto-Flower. And while Im not a fan of Auto's I harvested 34 Grams in 69 Days. With HALF your lighting. Good Luck man!!!! I would LST the crap out of that thing when it growsresized9.JPGresized9.JPG ready4harvest.JPG

Jack, man, those are looking frosty! Send me a sample come harvest time!

Ok so my plan is to put 1 23 watt over each of the seedlings and then put lights in as needed while they get bigger, until it starts to get too hot again. Do you think I am getting enough ventilation with the 9" fan and the 3" computer fan ? Or will I need to buy a more powerful fan?

Plant is still looking good. No sprouts yet but I have a good feeling. (:

The ventilation should be good, I use three 9" around the box just circulating air. Keep it up :-)

Bomb nug, I got to try some autos
The auto flower is great, but i prefer to be able to veg my plant as long as I want ( I'm a huge fan of LST'ing) but It was an intense grow regardless. It was so resionous, that just by touching the stems, my fingers reeked of blueberry and citrus. I made a stick canna-butter from 14 grams of trimmings, and man, was it powerful. The breeder claims 23% THC and I believe every word of it. Im definitely gonna go with feminzed seeds from now on

Id love to give you some but my state frowns upon what I do. Thanks for the compliment

Thanks bro! I added another 9" fan by the box to improve airflow and it actually seems like it made a significant difference, I might add another one. Thanks to everyone who gave me advice, my setup has already improved so much from following your suggestions.

Today I have a happy update.

Still waiting on the sprout that I planted in the soil I came across. (Mystery soil, feels high quality.)

Idk if it's just the pics that came out like that but I would back off the light from seedlings a little bit

Yeah man I really hope they take off now that i fixed the temp problem. The angle on the pic might distort the distance a bit but they are about an inch away from the bulbs, give or take a bit. I want em to grow super bushy so I'm gonna try to keep the lights pretty close.

Update:
I can smell the weed already. These things are SO much better than they were.

Yes wait a while damnit lol. Like another week at least. And when you do use the nutes you need to use a low dose

Lookin great though

Yeah dude I'll definitely give it another couple weeks before I start feeding seedling #1 and even longer for the rest. I was thinking 1/4 strength Miracle Gro Plant Food for the first feeding. I definitely don't need any more types of burns lol.
