Hi all,

I'm new here, new to growing too. Anyway I am very soon hoping to start growing. I live in a house with my girlfriend and just now trying to work out what my garden options are.:weed:

I have a Bedroom wardrobe with two sliding doors that seems my only option :wall:(image attached)

The Blue is where my clothes will be, Light green is grow area, Dark Green is a shelf (keep Inline fan there?) or can be removed to add height to overall grow area.

Now since it is my bedroom there are a few things that I need. I need it to be quiet; I need to be able to sleep:sleep: without thinking I am at London Heathrow airport . Smell is also a factor can clothes be kept in wardrobe beside grow tent; Will the Carbon filter keep smell in that tent?

I also have occasional visitors that like to look around (Family/Friends/Landlord:fire:!) so the noise has to be quiet enough that if they stood in the room they would not hear the noise from the cupboard (Is this possible?!)

My grow if you cannot tell yet needs to be stealthy , for me it is a huge factor for the peace of mind that if anyone was to walk in my front door I am not going to be a nervous wreck:spew: until they get out haha

My Budget is £200-£300.
Dimensions of available grow area are ; 110cmx60cmx170cm / 3.6ft x 2ft x 5.5ft
Dimensions of extended grow space (if worth it) are ; 110cmx60cmx230cm / 3.6ft x 2ft x 7.5ft

I was thinking of a grow tent (around 0.9x0.5x160) I seen this one here not sure if it is any good? (Please recommend any others UK)

I am just looking for some general pointers as I see a lot of "You won't know until you try" which I do totally understand but I just do not want to waste money and risk relationships/Freedom :peace:

Let me know if I have missed something, and thanks in advance to everyone!:bigjoint:

P.S I am thinking of starting with auto's but anything with a good result is my aim

Hey Luke,

Thanks for the read man (if i didn't bore you too much lol)

Yeah I know it looks a little long but I basically just want to know if growing in a space that size is able to be stealthy enough for my needs but also be able to produce decent yields. Im guessing maybe 6 smallish plants max.

Thanks again!

Id say its a possibility.

Lots of cupboard, computer tower, fridge and small cabinet grows. I saw an under bed one that is wicket, so check those out for stealth solutions.

Check out the micro grow threads in the Indoor section for the sound and vent solutions. You will get some great ideas and some help there I recon.

Heres one i saw earlier. Its well set up and may help you. https://www.rollitup.org/t/tjeck-out-this-amazing-stealth-closet-scrog.618305/

Yeah I have seen much smaller spaces achieve a harvest. I guess I just wanted to hear it could be done in such a space.

Thanks for the help dude, that grow you shared looks sweet. If I had to guess the dimensions look sprt of similar

My grow space 130/60/60 although small I can grow 1 plant with great results(up to 6 Oz) in a home made DWC system. I tried to grow 2 in this space when I first started and although they were a pure indica strain and I only veg for 3 weeks with various training techniques they were trying to out grow my box. I'd say to grow 1 pure indica plant with Super cropping, lst & topping. I'll upload a few photos of various parts of my box o give you an idea

I am running 6 PC fans (3 in, 3 out) the in are connected together on the rear via a 3 way ducting piece to the outside and the out into a carbon filter attached to the rear.
I'm using led due to the lack of space and heat. With a 42 litre storage box for water and neutrients, 10 inch pot, small pump in tank pumping to base of plant, 2 5 inch air stones in tank & 2 way air pump

I would suggest possibly running your lights and fans at night so its quiet during the day. This is what I do, just in case the landlord had to come by, my lights are on 6pm -6am. The hours when he has no business being there. Good luck. Happy growing!

Loving the photo's man, your set up looks sweet!
And those yields make me excited of what could be in future even working in small space
What strain was it you yielded 6oz from with a 3 week veg man?:weed:

I would give you some likes if I could dude but I'm still in the forum probation period for that stuff, none the less digging your post and the time you took to give me ideas and hope!:peace: Thanks again dude!

I never even thought of this, It is a great idea!

I suppose you a running seed to flower on this set-up?

Does the ventilation have any benefits when lights are off? I know the air flow helps with heat from lights but with them being off would the plants need/benefit from a continued airflow in the dark?

Thanks for that idea dude , could be a huge part of my garden (and hopefully my success)

No problem bro, I'm no expert. The light hours have worked well for me though. I have cold winters and hot summers where I'm at in Cali. The lights keep it warm on cold nights and keeps it cool being off during the the day heat. I keep oscilating fans on and a vent open during the day only. I will sometimes turn on my exhaust fan after I water to keep the humidity down. Havent had any issues so far. U also have to consider light leaks being an issue during the day. I keep the room my tent is in dark with curtains and wat not. Best luck dude!

Honestly......if you can clear out a 3 x 3 x 7 area buy a tent. One 600 kooltube and have phenomenal harvests. Plus you can cover the tent with clothes or call it a fishing shanty thats drying out for the upcoming season.....

I'm hoping to use maybe a bigger space in future once I have worked out what the sights and smells are like growing in my house.

Once I have that worked out then I hope to branch (pardon the pun:cool:) out into bigger areas

Thanks for the read dude!:bigjoint:
