I went all out got kind 700 watt led light for flower 4x4 tent. One kind 350 watt light for vegetative 4x4 tent. Inline 4" vortex fans pulling from outside flower tent with carbon filter inside, the through the veg tent. For winter I have an air Intake from outside to cool things down. Summer I flip it around to Exaust hot air while the air conditioners on. Very large air pumps for both tents with 6- 3 gallon buckets for veg for 1 month. And 4- 5 gallon buckets for flowering the best 4 from veg. Following General hydropinic full expert te circulating nutrient charts. Veg and flower tents both have their own room with a bathroom in between for cleaning. Please please please any tips are greatly appreciated. This is my first post and first time to a group. Dude love the plants and your set up is pretty sophisticated how do you like the kind led? Does it really penetrate the canopy like it claims? I was on the ropes about it because of the price, and got a neutron star labs 300w on the way right now I have dual spectrum CFls. Have you used c02 enhancement?

Thank you bud. I've spent ten years reading and learning and so I tried to do a top level grow. My thoughts on the kind are it runs too hot for how much light penetration is there. My canopy is only about 4" thick or so right now and I have to keep the plant fan leaves trimmed 70% just to be able to get the light penetration desired. I have a 5 gallon bucket wth sugar water and yeast and another 2 liter both pumping some co2 in. But because of heat I am going up to a 6" in line Exaust to help keep things cool so doing co2 won't do me much good right now. I'm definitly open to any tips. I'm goin to record the full details of my grow soon. 4 a51 rw150s just shipped! Going to return kind lights when they get here.

I'm pretty green myself( no pun intended:bigjoint:) I just recently got into growing as well, but so far it's been going great after I got my ph and ppm under control. I've had to trim my plants as well and have just started to do low stress training and the reason I asked about the c02 is cause I just bought a bag that claims to boost c02 through fungus propagation? Just seein if you knew any gossip about it. I'm growing some black domina and she's getting really bushy and purple, hopefully she will look like yours soon. Thank you man. Very nice plants look good! My only suggestion from the pics is maybe let those plants grow a little bit first get 4 sets of nodes then top. Then let it bush out a while then do a major defoliation and she will fill in like crazy. That's the method I've been going with on this single plant. More of an experiment for my real grow next with 4 plants. Can't wait! Here's an update on the girls today. They are back to stinking again! And I just did a major defoliation 2 days ago and some yesterday and it's just now starting to fill in he bud areas. I'm battling keeping the canopy nice and level. Shorter stems I squeeze the stem till it collapses and they start to catch up to the rest the next day. I also use double layer scrog and some green twist ties to keep the plant growing horizontally creating so many more nice too buds. I jacked my light up to try to make the plant stretch som more for bud room. So far this cheese is short and stubby. But that's also my train method. Look at the side view pic at the shape of the canopy. I love this hobby. Can't wait till harvest.

Oh and the co2 bag will help I am sure. Not going to get you to te 1200 ppm range by any means. But neither will my test and sugar. It has mostly to do with your ventallation/ air circulation in the tent. Co2 sinks so you want a fan in there to stir it up. If your Exaust runs too fast you'll suck the extra co2 out I would think. I'm a newbie I've just read too much. Might nt be on point but...

I topped that girl way too early you are right I also killed it's growth because I thought trimming fan leaves was good( btw it's not at all lol) so growth was severely stunted the other black d is only 3 weeks old I've been treating them with great white, voodoo juice and tarantula juice for root growth and I'm still dialing it in, I don't really know how to inoculate the soil very well any tips would be appreciated, I saw that side view that's a beast! How did you get such massive stem growth? And your scrog is spot on I can see how it's an ongoing battle with the canopy you've got like 20 colas she is gonna be a heavier yielder! I love this hobby to it's relaxing trimming them and it's even more relaxing to smoke em! I just set up my carbon filter should it be outside or is it good?image.jpg

Yea I feel you I get over excited when they are young but gotta let them build up strength before cutting at all. I pinched my main stem untill it collapsed after 3 lead sets had grown and it came back twice as thick. Did that to almost every branch after it was established to build its strength. In my opinion trimming fan leaves is great. Just the timing is key. After you've topped the plant and it has grown 2 new shoots once they are developed and has their own 3 sets then de leaf 70% of the fan leaves. Basically anything under 2 1/2 " cut them off. Within two days of letting hem heal it was start to bush out and look amazing. Then do that again during vegetative if needed but not during last week or two of veg. Also do it again during flowering around week 2-3. The buds will fill in like crazy. Even the lower buckshot branches(which I removed so many useless ones so more energy for the rest. Your carbon filter should be fine but instead of pulling through the open duct flip it around and pull through the filter instead of blowing through it. I don't know much about soil inoculation or soil really at all. I jumped straight to the hydro.

If you have a leak in yojr Exaust in between the carbon filter and fan you will have scent leaks. Just better to pull the air through the carbon than to push it.

My training methods and strength building might add a short bit of time to yor veg cycle but it is well worth it.

Also I use General hydropinics and get the full expert line of nutes. Much cheaper than what ue using I think. And I go buy the expert feeding sceduale for recirculating setup. It's in their website. I tone it down just a bit usually and it works great the ph is spot on after mixing it up usually.

I just found a seed in a bag of awesome weed and I'm germing it as we speak, super excited it's ready to pop and has black veins through it. The filter is pulling through the white part I can't reverse the air flow, the metallic part Is blowing air onto the plants but it's off now. When you say pinch you literally mean pinch the stems till they break or bend? Haven't tried that but will start immediately. And it's all good if they have an excessive veg cycle I'm all about quality and I want my girls to be fully prepared so I get super duper medicated I'm all for the strength training tips it'll only make my crop better right. And I kinda have an absurd line up of mixed and match nutes that have different macro and micro nutes and really it's been great I just had to get that ppm meter so I don't overdue salts. I'm starting to get the trimming aspect, better for now I'm letting my other 2 just grow straight up for one main cola and have the other two go all branchy.

Super cropping it's called. Just don't over due it. Squeeze just blending to collapse you will feel it. Easier when the plant has soft stalks but I did mine close to the bud sites and it's working good. You can bend them afterwords in the direction you want them Togo. I just keep doing it to some branches that grow too tall. Pinch then bend and tie down. Creates another top bud also. Just don't want to over stress during flowering. The cheese seems to be pretty tough. I have ppm meter and ph meter also. Just getting that part down pact now. Yor filter and fan are fine just looked like it was backwords. I just made a 4x4 square from pvc and ran fishing line all over it to make an adjustable scrog net. I would reccomend doing all yor plants the same way unless your just expieramenting. My next grow 4 plants, going to too after 4 lead sets/ again after another 2, then low stress train them to grow outwards like a bowl. You see my pics^ then I'm going to scrog net them all down for flower like I am now with my cheese.
