First Grow - Is it ready to harvest?

I'm a novice grower. In fact, this is my first try. I got the seeds from a friend, so the type is unknown.

After a light falling travesty, they have seemed to have bounced back. Tell me what you think...good or bad. I'm curious if it is time to harvest these.

Any other tips would be helpful also, and appreciated.
Thanks,
DocNugg

ah damn looks god but you still have a long while
look t your trich production kinda small at this point but if you hold out just a bit longer it will fill out and get amazingly frosty.

Thanks for all the great advice. I'm in the middle of cloning, so will have a better idea with my 2nd round. Lucked up and had all 6 turn out to be fems.

Don't look at the hairs...get a 60-100x scope and look at the trichomes...they are probly clear right now...but they will eventually turn cloudy, then amber...the more amber, the more of a couch lock kinda high you will get. You want like 50-50 cloudy amber ratio i think...i could be wrong, but i think i'm at least close...lol

wait for the calaxys swell up.. or how you spell that..

:)

you wont be disapointed... the last grow i did wasnt based on days, i was training my taste and also tested each day from week 7 - 9..

fucking worth it to wait the extra week, totally swelld up... just wait.. you'll see the calaxys starting to swell. Best thing to do is basicly wait till it looks like its gona explode :D

So far so good, but its still quite early, depending on the strain it looks like you still have between 3 to 5 weeks until its ripe enough for harvest, its still in heavy calyx production! keep it growing, and you will notice when your buds are ripe, the pistils will look like theyre tucking back in the calyx and the trichs will also help with your harvest! A lot of people say its all about the trichs, but its a lot more then just the trichs, some buds are long from finished and have a 50/50 cloudy to amber ratio. but keep growing and after about 3 to 5 harvests you will know how to determine the perfect harvest time from your plants, its hard to MASTER 1 strain, and by always trying new ones you will never really be able to truely pound out weight. So i would advice for you o find a strain you like and try to learn it and then make it produce. well its a little off the thread but you need to gain a feel for your plants to truelyexploit them. keep it growing -syze-

going by what people have told me on my grow, i would say that you're girls aren't ready at all. my buds looked kinda like that around the 2nd/3rd week of bloom. patience patience patience... it drives me nuts :(
