Thank dude! Then comes the grueling wait for it to dry and cure :/ Have any simple/low cost ways I can utilize the clippings from when I trim? I've heard bubble hash is fairly simple but I really haven't read any simple instructions haha

They look great! I have a microscope; best investment I EVER made! ... How do you plan on drying and curing it?
Thanks bro! I Plan on hanging them from string in my dark closet until they feel somewhat crispy. But not long enough to dry out the stems. Then I plan on putting them on a cutoff peice of cardboard in a beer cooler for a bit. Opening daily for an undetermined amount of time. Then into jars for the curing! Sound good? Please feel free to critique that method.

Damn just read through your entire journal. This is going to help me out tremendously through my first grow. Crazy you had so many problems to begin but looks more less you were just like I would be, just worrying to much. This has already calmed me down a lot reading this. Plants look amazing.
My biggest concern is adding the nutes/ feeding but it doesn't seem like it was that hard.. Awesome job! Cat wait to see how you finish out, I'll be referring back to this journal throughout my entire grow!

How much do you think you will get out of your plant once harvested and dried? And how smelly is just 1? Enough to invest into a carbon filter?

Thanks dude, Glad to hear this has/will helped you! Ya, I was a little nervous about the whole nute thing too from the start, but really, it's simple. I've just made sure too PH the nute/water every time before feeding and adjust accordingly. I've been using the pH UP/down with the test tube that I got off ebay this entire grow. And haven't once properly tested my soils' pH. Beginner's luck? Maybe, but I'll just go with my nute method is the right one, haha.

I'm hoping for at least 1 oz dried. But really I have no idea lol. The smell hasn't been all that bad. She smells great in the tent but it pretty much stays at the top level of my house. My nearest neighbors' house is about 20 yards from mine, so I haven't really needed to worry. If you have very close neighbors or live in an apt I'm guessing you would want a carbon filter. I can smell her in my living room sometimes and it's at the way top of the house in a walk-in closet haha.

I am pretty surprised to see the Charlie Brown christmas tree turned out for not being able to go through it's vegetative cycle at all. Next time keep your veg cycles completely separate from your flower cycles as well as the lighting if possible, you'll have a much better turn out. During your veg cycle use blue spectrums for a stronger veg growth, too many reds will only confuse your plants and they don't grow as thick or as tall, it actually confuses the plant and if your plants receive more warm spectrums than cool spectrums during the veg cycle it will turn out scraggly. In your first couple of weeks, the yellowing you had might have been from the lack of nitrogen from the lack blue spectrum lighting, not the nutes.

When it comes to CFL's and Flouresents- cool and cheap
Blue Spectrum(above 5000k) induces a vegetative cycle = Veg Cycle on 18+/24 cycle
Red Spectrum (below 3000k) induces a flowering cycle = Flower Cycle on 12/12 cycle

hot and expensive
MH (Metal Halide) is a cool/blue spectrum
HPS (High Pressure Sodium) is a warm/red spectrum

cool and expensive
LED's are a whole other beast that is usually both red and blues but can be set to shine at 5700k exactly

However Atown, nice job saving it! it actually turned out really nice, I am sure you will grow a massive killer kind next time! :)
mmm and some Atown Pizza sounds yummy right now btw :)

So I'm on day 21 from sprout. I did the see leaves start to settle a lot after taking the cfls away, so that's a good thing! I did decide to transplant into my 3 gallon. 70% FFOC 30% perlite. I transplanted in between watering days. When doing so, I worked the soil a little then flipped upside down. All the top soil down to the roots came crumbling down and exposed the whole plant. So I carefully replanted into the new soil. Any thoughts on why the soil did that? The "yellowing leaves" have not gotten worse nor have they improved. It also doesn't look to be spreading any further.

Both of these pictures are from today. 2 days after transplant. Please someone give me some input! Size, appearance? It is a dud?
I sure wish you well. You seem to have everything down just right. He's mine 26 days old. 3'x3'x8' closet, white latex paint, 4 panel T-5, Roots Organics soil, 1 gallon pot, Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow A&B pH Perfect as needed every 3 waterings. Pinched 5/5/14. LST 4 days ago.

I think growing weed is like playing golf, we are all rookies unless you are a paid professional!

What is your soil medium you used for this?

So I have some horrible news... last night while messing with the lights my T5 fell off its straps and right onto BOTH plants.. The Powers top cola stem was snapped off. So I was forced to harvest the top part of the power... The autos top cola stem was bent in half completely. So I used some tape and got her back up nice and strong. But, one of the smaller buds stems was snapped off, so I was forced to harvest that as well. hopefully she makes it.. Here's just a few pics. Ill have a full update later on tonight :(
