First grow hijack/transiberian HELP!

So, this is my first grow. I chose two auto strains cause I figured it would be harder to screw up...

20"x36"x62" grow tent
75-80*F
45-60rh
Kind led L450 (270 actual watts)
24" from plants
FFOF medium
Ph is at 6.4-7.0

Just treated with cal/mag on Friday. I thought maybe because I'm using distilled water I might have a cal mag def. growth doesn't seem to be stunted. No other nutes other than what's in ocean forest.

Oh yeah, the trans is on day 12 and the hijack is on day 5.... Ideas? Should I flush w re-ph'd water? Never flushed before afraid of drowning my girls. Thanks in advance for your help.

I forgot the name of that but it is not a problem, some leaves are healthy and show the same dicoloration. I think it is more genetic than anything else.

I also think it was a little too soon for adding calmag.

I recommend using a straw for watering the small plants, that way you make sure soil gets moist and that nutrients are not washed out and remain at the top. Once you feel it is drinking it to fast for watering with a straw, you can add more water and maybe calmag

Yeah, so I ran some water through the soil of the smaller plant (hijack) and ppms read 1200... That's way too high for a 5 day old. And that's no nutes; straight FFOF and perlite. I'm flushing right now to bring down to 600 or so.

ffof sometimes runs pretty hot they should level out. alot of peeps run half ffof and half ffhappyfrog and a little extra unfertilized perlite never hurts too

The trans is super beefy for just over 2 wks old. She's growing just as fast up as she is out at 6" already. Is there a way to get her to grow a bit more vertical??? I raised the light as high as I can @ about 30" (just moved up from 24" today). Thanks guys!

Thanks porrista... Only thing given to her in 17 days is water/calmag. I was thinking half strength Fox Farm Grow Big for next feeding (she'll be three wks by then). You think that would be okay? Recommend anything else?

Just realized all my other pics were under leds

So still growing okay. Saw these little spots showing up yesterday on the transiberian though. I think calmag def, but have been implementing calmag with every watering. She still hasn't had any nutes as of today. Was going to start them this week, but not sure I should with these little issues going on. I checked my ph with two different instruments (both showing 2 different readings) and manually checked the runoff.

rh~45-50%
tap water w ph @6.5

The leaves seem real leathery (have been from the beginning so maybe it's something with the genetics of the trans) and seem to tear fairly easily.

Other than this and variegation, she seems okay

Looking good for your 1st grow..hope u get on top of those little problems. I got / had the same 3way green ph meter, didn't trust it too much myself.

Yeah, as a newb I've been freaking out a bit. You spend so much time, money, and effort on these babies that you're afraid that you'll wake up one morning, open the tent, and she'll be lifeless/infested w these spots. I know that's not going to happen though... Just worried about not catching things soon enough and then not knowing how to rectify what's wrong etc.

So I guess what I'm asking is: could this be a ph problem? Again, no nutes just calmag and tap water ph'd to 6.5Are there any digital ph meters out there that are worth a damn?Should I hold off on nutes (FF trio of nutes)

I'm no expert, but it could be the soil being too hot for autos.. As it your 1st grow I woludnt worry too much, if you are goin to feed go 1/4 strength and monitor how they react / new growth. They look a lot better then my 1st grow.

Hijack look healthy enough. She looks like she can take it. Slight trouble when doing two strains to start with, one plant might respond well, the other plant might disagree, and ur unsure if it you, the feeding sechdule etc. keep updates comin. Would like to see how they turn out.

Also, have these on about 1/5 of the fan leaves. Should I be concerned? I figure I'm within a week of flowering, not sure if flowering draws more from the soil. Thanks again for your help

I had something that looked similar and was told its ph flucuaction, and not to worry. I think I had to try and keep the ph stable or within range.. But again.. I'm no expert. Is it old or new growth?
