Well would you look at that. Window cracked, both side flaps closed all night (rear one open)...and temps held at exactly 74 degrees 40% humidity! They are VERY happy and healthy ha :bigjoint:

It's kind of funny how every grow is series of small experiments.. I've done hundreds and still learning.. Maybe I'm a slow learner. lol

So I'm kind of off track with the manifold thing, I think? Was I suppose to remove the side shoots that I have filling out my canopy so that there were just 4 main buds on each plant? Or is that was I have but because of the extreme LST work all the branches running off the main shoots have turned vertical and filled out the canopy?
The original plan was just 4 main buds each as thick and full as possible. Now I feel like the plant will be supplying 24 different bud sites. Is this a better outcome or pretty much the buds might be smaller all around but maybe even out or yield more than the original plan? I'm getting confused haha

You got off the mainline track when you removed the foliage and day-lighted the secondaries.. It's all good..
They have a nice canopy and look good.. Now is when leaf weaving is beneficial..
I like growing giant buds, but they usually get bud rot, so I grow smaller buds..
Last weeks pic..

Looking good!!!! Can't wait to see your lady in full flowering. How many weeks in are you???

Plants need water but I don't have time tonight! Pruned the piss out of them again hahahaha. And left them dry with no water! Pulled all the under shoots and only left the large strong ones. Pulled all the shoots from every branch lol. Fuck it. First grow. Trying to make a mistake.

Think I'm going to give them just half strength Veg nutes with some fish/seaweed and cal-mag, with a low dose of bloom nutes. Switched them to 12/12, let them chill for almost a week, pulled all their BS growth , and hitting em with some bloom! If that doesn't tell them to start making buds I don't know what will haha! Seriously though I feel like I have to mess around a bit to find out what will or won't happen. If I play it safe where's the fun in that? I won't learn anything...

It'll be 6 days tomorrow since their last watering. Playing it close but they aren't droopy so let the roots stretch for water a bit ya know?

You just did what I call productive thinning... Nothing wrong with experiments.. With these bags I have to water every other day but I don't let them get too dry.. Each plant uses 3 quarts... It's three weeks today since I flipped em.. Trichs are starting.. just gave em their first bloom nutes.. Things look good for both of us..

This weeks pics. The one I've been showing is a Chronic White Widow cross I made a few years ago.. The other single plant is a G13x BB Headband.. The middle has four plants in one bag. OG kush, Blue OG, Chrystal and SAGE..
Damn those look perty! May I see some shots of the undergrowth and shoots below the canopy (the ones I pulled haha)?

I cant open the tent until 8pm for feeding but I have prepared a mix of nutes to try out and start them on. Theyve been without water for 6 days and Im expecting to find sad girls in there haha
- 2ml FloraNova Bloom
- 2ml Potash Plus
- 3ml Cal-Mag

I can still add in some seaweed/fish extract but the FloraNova has Nitrogen in it already, and so does the Cal-Mag. As well as the soil, so I didn't want to go overboard on the Nitrogen?
This is probably too much food for them but maybe theyll like it. They havent complained much, even when I was feeding them back to back fert for 2 weeks with no water in between haha...
The smaller girl has pistils popping out in random spots, bigger one I didnt see any yesterday.

Side note, Ive been feeding them each close to a gallon to get good runoff, think thats unnecessary? or should I make sure to get that 10-20% runoff? Ill also check the runoff PH today and see where Im at since transplanting...

With the bags there is no runoff so it's kind of a feel thing.. mostly weight.. but you kinda get things dialed in..
In pots I only ran 20%+ runoff if something was wrong.. regular watering, just till I get runoff.. water slowly so it doesn't run down the inside of the pot and out the drain... I wasted so much over the years watering too fast.. A lot of ppl say 10/20% runoff and I can't say they are wrong.. I just don't thing it's needed every watering.. maybe every fourth or fifth..
Now that you're in flower any mistakes will affect quantity as well as quality of your harvest... This is always my nervous time..

I split the gallon between them and got a nice amount of runoff. Good call! They were a little droopy. Perked up as soon as the water hit the soil ha. Did some leaf tucking and buttoned em up for some sunbathing

Trichomes started showing after the third week... I've been using Dr Earth products the last two grows..
I started using their stuff about three years ago in my veggy garden... Worked so well, that when I decided to hang up hydro for awhile I thought I would give it a try.. I did find a nute schedule I loosely follow.. couldn't find the link so I just pasted it..

DR. EARTH LSP 258 KIT
INDOOR ORGANIC GARDEN
POTTING SOILS & NUTRIENTS FOR MAXIUM POTENCY, WEIGHT,
AND YIELD
PURPOSE: A proven success kit for 6 INDOOR 5-GALLON PLANTS for gardeners demanding the highest grade finished product with maximum yield as the main objective.
DESIGN: Easy to follow schedule takes all the guesswork out of what to do and when to do it. The LSP 258 kit has been proven to grow the healthiest plants with maximum weight gain, thick/tight buds, and sticky/oily flowers. Follow the week by week schedule for maximum results. No guesswork. No burning. Only maximum yields! Set your lights and harvest by your desired date.
CHECKLIST:
6 EMPTY 5-GALLON POTTING CONTAINERS
Two bags of Dr. Earth® 1.5 Cu. Ft. Home Grown® potting soil or Pot of Gold® potting soil.
One 4-pound bag of Dr. Earth® Organic 2 Starter Fertilizer 2-4-2 (the start)
One 4-pound bag of Dr. Earth® Organic 5 Tomato and Vegetable Fertilizer 5-7-3 (the middle)
One 4-pound bag of Dr. Earth® Organic 8 Bud & Bloom Booster 4-10-7 (the finish)
One pint of Dr. Earth® Liquid Solution All Purpose Fertilizer 3-3-3 (the maintenance)
One pint of Dr. Earth® Seaweed Concentrate 0-0-4.5 (the micro-maintenance)
One pint of Dr. Earth® ProActive Fruit & Vegetable Ready-to-use Insect Spray (the kill)
DIRECTIONS TO GET STARTED: Using the contents of the 2 bags of potting soil, fill all 6 containers until soil level is within 1 inch from the top of each container. Blend ¼ cup of Dr. Earth® Organic 2 Starter Fertilizer into the top 4 inches of the potting soil. Dig a small hole to transplant your cutting. The hole should be slightly larger than the size of your transplant. Make sure that you do not bury the transplant too deeply. The soil level of the transplant should be slightly higher than the soil level in the 5-gallon container to avoid damping off and other fungal diseases. Water the container well. Wait 5 minutes. Then start your feeding schedule as prescribed below. Turn on your lights and get growing. Follow the light manufacturers suggestions very carefully to send your plants into a strong vegetative cycle that will maximize green growth. Many options are available. Any length of time between 18 to 24 hours is effective. Consult with your light manufacturer for best results.
Water again, using Dr. Earth® Seaweed Concentrate diluted in 1 gallon of water, at a ratio of 2 tablespoons per gallon. Water all plants equally with the 1 gallon of seaweed solution water; apply equal amounts per plant until the 1 gallon of solution has been completely used.
NOTE: Insect spray should only be used directly on the soil, if you see fungus gnats or other insects. Do not spray the plants leaves, as this could cause burning under strong lights.
FEEDING SCHEDULE:
Week 1: Day 1- Thoroughly blend Dr. Earth® Organic 2 starter fertilizer into the top 4 inches of soil in the containers, at the rate of ¼ cup per each 5-gallon container. Water it in with a solution of Dr.Earth® Seaweed Concentrate. (See instructions above.)
Week 2: Mix Dr. Earth® Liquid Solution at a rate of 4 tablespoons per gallon of water. Apply 2 ½ cups of solution per 5-gallon plant.
Week 3: Mix ¼ cup of Dr Earth® Organic 2 Starter Fertilizer into the top 2 inches of soil in each 5-gallon container. Scratch in completely, but be careful not to disturb the established root system. Water thoroughly.
Week 4: Mix 4 tablespoons of Dr. Earth® Liquid solution® and 2 tablespoons of Dr. Earth® Seaweed Concentrate into 1 gallon of water. Apply 2 ½ cups of solution per plant. After feeding, water lightly with pure water, to drive the nutrients down into the soil.
Week 5: Mix Dr. Earth® Organic 5 Vegetable Fertilizer at a rate of ¼ cup per five-gallon container mixed thoroughly into the top 2 inches of soil trying not to disturb the established root system. Water thoroughly.
Week 6: Mix both Dr. Earth® Liquid Solution® and Dr. Earth® Seaweed Concentrate. Mix 4 tablespoons of Liquid Solution and 2 tablespoons of Seaweed Concentrate in 1 gallon of water. Apply 2 ½ cups of solution per plant. After you feed, water lightly with pure water to drive the nutrients down into the soil.
Week 7: Thoroughly mix Dr. Earth® Organic 5 Vegetable Fertilizer into the top 2 inches of soil, at a rate of ¼ cup per 5-gallon container, trying not to disturb the established root system. Water thoroughly.
Week 8: Mix 4 tablespoons of Dr. Earth® Liquid solution® and 3 tablespoons of Dr. Earth® Seaweed Concentrate into 1 gallon of water. Apply 2 ½ cups of solution per plant. After feeding, water lightly with pure water, to drive the nutrients down into the soil.
Week 9: Thoroughly mix Dr. Earth® Organic 8 Bud & Bloom Booster into the top 2 inches of soil, at a rate of ¼ cup per 5-gallon container, trying not to disturb the established root system. Water thoroughly.
Week 10: Mix 4 tablespoons of Dr. Earth® Liquid solution® and 3 tablespoons of Dr. Earth® Seaweed Concentrate into 1 gallon of water. Apply 2 ½ cups of solution per plant. After you feed, water lightly with pure water to drive the nutrients down into the soil.
Week 11: Mix Dr. Earth® Organic 8 Bud & Bloom Booster thoroughly into the top 2 inches of soil, at a rate of ¼ cup per 5-gallon container, trying not to disturb the established root system. Water well.
Week 12 UNTIL HARVEST: Use pure water only to flush all of the nutrients from the soil. It is important to understand that hundreds of different of varieties of plants are available to grow and harvest. Most plants have different maturity dates, for this reason we recommend 11 weeks of feeding at the minimum, if the variety of plant you choose to grow requires a long flowering period, then you may keep feeding with Dr. Earth Liquid Solution at a rate 2 tablespoons mixed into 1 gallon of water then applied at a rate of 2 ½ cups of solution per plant until 2 weeks before harvest. Flushing the nutrients from the soil 2 weeks prior to harvest will help to maximize your plants potency.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
FOR MAXIUM RESULTS, START EACH NEW CROP BY DISCARDING THE USED SOIL AND REFILLING POTS WITH FRESH DR. EARTH® POTTING SOILS AS CALLED FOR ABOVE.
APPLY MINIUMUM AMOUNTS OF WATER, ONLY ENOUPH TO KEEP THE SOIL MOIST AND ALLOWING IT TO DRY BETWEEN WATERING.
NO TWO PLANTS ARE ALIKE; THE ACTUAL DAY OF HARVEST CAN VARY BETWEEN 14 TO 20 WEEKS FROM THE TIME A CUTTING WAS TRANSPALANTED INTO THE SOIL. DIFFERENT VARIETYS MATURE AT DIFFERENT RATES.
IN MOST CASES, 16 WEEKS IS AN AVERAGE TIME FRAME TO GROW HEALTHY AND MATURE PLANTS.
KNOW THE VARIETY YOU ARE GROWING AND LOOK FOR SIGNS OF MATURITY.
ALWAYS LET THE SOIL DRY COMPLETELY BEFORE YOU HARVEST!
Best of health to you,
Milo Shammas

That's a LOT of info!!! I'm going to have to take some time on that!

Today's photo. Full gallon of water for each plant the night before. Runoff was 6.5 in both plants.

Released most of the tie points on the plant. They're pretty much free to go straight up now!
