Yo. I checked outside tent temp it's 22C. Put thermometer back in for half hour temps at nearly 27C. I just use passive intake.

Also, noticed the amnesia had slight yellow tips on new growth. Thought it was nute burn, but only gave it one light feed 2 weeks ago (0.5ml/l maybe less) and only plain ph'd water since. Anyone think it is nute burn, or do they want more food? Don't wanna make it worse! Also looks very slightly heat stress (leaves curling upward) Here's a

cheers mate, really appreciate you doing that... So basically the 250w raises temps by 5 degrees. That's cool. I will be purchasing a dimable ballast as soon as I heve the reddies. I'm gonna get a cool tube also so I can crank it up to 400 maybe even 600... I think 400 would be sufficient for my 80 x 80 tent, if I can run at 600 without a shit load of noisy fans... Then I will. Imagim pullin a gram per watt at that lol. The tent would be wall to wall colas lol

No probs man! Yeah roughly 5C rise with my 4" fan turned 3/4 strength. 400 in your tent is plenty! Mine is 90x90 and wouldn't want to go higher than 400! Might even upgrade to 6" fan in future for summer grows. Winter shud be fine! Peace!

the yellowing tips could be your plant asking for food, do you feed it any magnesium? How far above is your light? Don't take any of my advice as right lol, I'm just throwing ideas for you to investigate lol. I fuckin hate problems like that, yo think its a deficiency so you feed more and make it worse or the opposit lol. Its always worth giving some epsom salts (magnesium sulphate) through out the grow or calmag depending on your water supply, I'm in the UK and we have calcium already in our water.... So I'm lead to believe lol.

Looks like my biggest plant has got mag deficiency & I need epsom salt. I notice they sell it in boots. Think it says for constipation, lol, but ingredients are 100% magnesium sulphate. Does anyone know if it will be ok to use as I don't want to wait 3 days for ebay! Thanks

yeah mate.. Epsom salt is fine to use. I use it. I find its best if u grind it into a finer powder before adding to water tho. Its quite biq crystals. Crush it with a credit card or between spoons. I feed mine into the soul.. If u want it to work quicker tho then use as a folier spray. They are looking really good mate. Id be proud of those babies! Any chemist sell Epsom salts. Its for constipation and many other things.. Boots defo have it. Cheap too.

they are looking really good man! Lots of bid sites! Your gonna have your self a good few grams there! Just wait till they start to flowe properly. Mine have got so much more bud than I was expecting and they still have a couple of weeks which is when o put on the most weight apparently lol. Happy days! My leaves are starting to yellow all over the place but that's just the plant eating its self to fred the flowers I think. They are well fed... So its the only reason I can think. Gonna start giving just water for next 2 weeks. Just gonna take some pics and make a thread to make sure I'm right on thinking 2 weeks left. No worries for the help.. Hope it works!

Seemed it was a nitrogen deficiency & it started to yellow quite bad (only 1, the big f###er!). Fed it and it's recovering nicely. Live & learn I suppose! I read so much about over feeding autos I actually underfed it! What a twat! Anyhow, bang on week 6 today. Got 6 weeks on Thursday till they must be chopped as I'm off to The Dam for a mega 30th birthday smoke out!! Quick few pics for the bud porn lovers (that's me!):

yo man.. They have come along nicely, starting to fill out well and dom trichomes appearing. 6 weeks should be plenty.. Just have to remember the dry and cure time too. Prob better you under fed than over fed.. You didn't have bad nitrogen deficiency, you caught it in time. I think its best that your plants show a slight deficiency so yo know they need feeding..its how they tell you what they need. Overfeeding is a right cunt lol. Mine are real close to chop time. I need to get a better magnification device to get a good look at trichomes. I think its safe to take em down now.. Think I'm gonna say 1 more

gonna say 1 more week just to make sure. They are also at slightly different stages but if i harvest all together then ill have a different range of highs from each plant.. In theory.. Then i can decide what stage is best for next crop. This ones been a bit of a learning curve and time of aquiring essential things. Sooner i get it out the way i can concerntrate on the next one. Bigger and better! Lol.

I'm not thinking of harvest for weeks yet! None of the hairs are orange and no trich's are cloudy yet! I'm waiting till some start turning amber! I'm not worried if it's dry by the time I go away, just so long as I've harvested! Need about a 2 week flush I think. Got up to 4 weeks (max) left of feeding before I start the flush. Hopefully they swell up nice in that time!

Hi! I mean flush at the end of the cycle, not yet. I need to chop them in 6 weeks to the day, so was gonna flush for last 10-14 days. I thought that was about right for soil as nutrients build up and leave a harsh taste?

the plants spent its whole life veg through flower absorbing nutrients both mobile and immoblile, if you spend the last 2 weeks trying to "flush" it out it will do more harm than good.

"flushing" is only done when you have a lockout and in this case youd use a very light solution of nutrients, never just plain water, that stresses the fuck out of the plants and you waste your last 2 weeks of growth on shock when the last 2 weeks can be some of the most important time in the plants life for packing on mass and really solidifying into some dense nuggs.
why dont you flush 1 and keep feeding another up until chop and compare the bud to see if you can taste the "harshness" of the nutes? Ive done this side by side test a few times and there is very little if any difference in harshness IMO but a huge drop in yield and quality from plants that get "flushed"
a good strain and CURE (most important) are the best ways to get "smooth" smoke
