First Grow Ever: Dyna Gro for Ebb and Flow

I recently got my medical card and is now in the process of planning my first grow. Due to circumstances, I cannot do soil so it must be hydroponics. I know most will say to start out at soil but its not possible in my soon to be living situation.

I plan to run a Botanicare Ebb and Flow Turbogarden (2x4;25 gal reservoir) in a 4x4 grow tent under 600w light. The tent will be ventilated using negative pressure thru an exhaust fan and other fans in the tent for circulation

Strains are undecided. Leaning toward feminized seeds due to plant restrictions in my state.

I plan to run around 3-5 plants in 2 gallon square pots using hydroton as the medium. I also plan to fill the tray with a little more hydroton (about 1 1/2 inch) around the pots just to cover the roots in case they grow out of the pot.

What I have not decided yet is what nutrients to run. I'm pretty much clueless. Due to research on this site, I plan to run the following:

Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro
Dyna-Gro Bloom
Dyna-Gro Mag Plus
Dyna-Gro Proteckt
Dutch Master Zone just in case I need it.

If all goes well, in the future, I plan to use Great White as well and ditch the DM Zone.

What do you guys think about the products above? What dosage would you recommend with my setup?

Hey, like ur off to a good start already. What I can tell u is that dyna is a great product and is highly concentrated which results in savings. Start with a low dose and work ur way up contantly monitoring the plants for any signs of over fertilization. Less is more when it comes to nutes. One thing I'd recommend is an great quality easy growing strain to start off with such as Northern Lights #5. Happy growing

I just wanted to say I'm a newbie and my very first grow was done in my homemade NFT system. Don't worry about starting with hydro if you can read directions you'll be ok. Oh and my first grow is now finishing up, other than a bit of unhappiness with my nutrients (GH Flora series) it's gone well. So you should be fine if you pay attention LOL

Good luck with your grow and I'm sure the pros will be alone soon to actually answer your real questions.
