First Grow!! Bagseed need expert input

WHATS UP!!!! new to the growing and ive nonstop reading everything on this site so i planted my first baby on the 15th and got a sprout on the 20th and decided to share with the world my adventure on ganja growing by the way im using 2 26 watt cfls gotta fan runnin and foil shiny paper all over the place im using potting soil from walmart and miragle grow all purpose plant food need experienced growers input and how to make it better THNX MUCH peace

You NEED better soil, get something with alot of perlite in it...and less sticks lol Also as you go along you're gonna need more lights, CFLs are fine but you'll need more of them. Lastly, MG isn't the best stuff...it will do for veg if it has to, but you'll need better nutes to flower with too. Good Luck!

yeah once my next payday hits up i planned on buying more atleast 2more lights and look around for better soil thnx for the input as for the nutes ive been looking all over walmart for those and all i could find is MG ive tried other stores but nothing keep em coming all opinions are appreciated

Tinfoil is less refelctive than say...Kevlar which can be readily bought at Wal-Mart as an emergency blanket. When looking for nutes anything like 5-5-5 or 10-10-10 is good enough for veg, flower will need something more like 0-5-4

its not really tinfoil i was buzzed and thats the only thing that came into my mind its a reflective paper that i bought at a art and crafts store so what would be the safest way for me to change the soil?

Just transplant to better soil whenever you transplant...the soil it's in probably won't do much damage, just make sure to transplant to better stuff eventually.

oh yeah i noticed my stem is purple and under the leaves where the stem meets the leaf its turning pruple 2 is this normal

i have had nightmares using walmart ferts i got nute lock and hot spots from the soil its better to use like hubert said something with a crap load of pearlite thats thoes white ball things...there is a great soil called light warrior if you can find that stuff you will be golden for soil then you just pick a proper nute system usually a 3 part deal base veg bloom

shop around you can find a proper 400 wt deal that comes with a hps and a mh bulb conversion deal thoes are the two most common bulbs to get good bud..although many have sucseeded with flouresence.

dont worry purple leaf stems are normal

I use them for veg, people get good results with flowering too. They are a little pricey though, but they do get good results.

Actually, look for Mylar... that's what you want.

Actually they use both Mylar and Kevlar in alot of emergency blankets. I suggested Kevlar because it will keep what little heat CFLs provide in with the plants. I agree Mylar is probably the best bet if you've got your temps high enough with those lights already.

if you notice in the picture the leaf got clipped the stupid light fell on it it looks okay but im no expert so its been 12 days since sprout how much longer do you guys think i should vegg it for?
