First grow... autosautos

Hey whars up... so this is my first grow.. im using 4 10 gal kitchen trash cans for pots "yes plenty of drainage". Order seeds from attitude strains are in pics but for thise who may not be abke to read them they are... berry bomb, freeze berry, mazar, and pink grapefruit... yes fruity lol old lady picked these..sooo im running 600w eye hortilux enhanced spectrum super hps.unsure type of ballast except its electronic. Running 6in cooltube with inline fan. Soil mix is 1/3 each fox farms ocean forest, happy frog, and coco mix. Nutes when i get to using them so far is the ff trio, big bud, and molasses." Gonna get the dirty dozen this week so i got em all. Anyways hope these ladys get big n fat for me..... here they r. These ladys are 7 1/2 dayydays old. Planted seed straight into moist soil.... 3 days lady they popped. I chose the deep kitchen trash cans for the depth obviously, read a lot about roots growing deep... buddy of mine grew 2 autos b 4 in 5 gal buckets and roots were growing out of the bottem this i wanted to avoid so this is my little experiment.. let me know what you guys think. All advice is welcome and appreciated. i will post new pics once twice a week keep checkin back for uodates.... fed the 1/2 tsp grow big today in 1.5gal of water didnt use it all but just a couple small solo cups each. Dont plan on feeding to much at all just a taste unless The ladtladys tell me otherwise.

good luck to ya.. do you have a fresh clean air source or are you just leaving the door open?

Open and close for now. Top of closet has 2 1/2 pieces if particle board and its not easiest to cut thru wuth my tools took everything i had to get exhaust hole cut. Buying a house soon so not gonna worry about intake. Just leave door cracked

yeah i saw that .. well actually if you have a second... so do you have two holes cut now in the room or just one?

thats something you'll wanna try and get figured out.. keeping the door closed will get not only super hot even with air moving so try to always have it open that way you get fresh clean air cycling in there.. its super important

bump this post when you do... you wanna make sure your intake hole is pulled from either outside... or if thats not a option at worst suck air from the room your closet is in.. or put the intake in the door .... however you do it.. when you make your intake hole get a HORTI DUST FILTER for your hole size.. its cheap washable and it filters all the air coming in through your intake hole... helps keep bugs and mold out ... etc..

Update..... day 11 out of soil... imo they look like they are doing great. Gave them a super diluted dose of grow big 1/2 tsp and molasses 1tsp in 2 gal water... just a taste to introduce it to them. yesterday gave just ph water at 6.5ish... whats your thoughts on progress for these ladys as i have never grew an auto or photo b 4.

Whats your thoughts on just adding co2 to my closet while keeping door cracked open 4 inches... Might be buying house that needs remodeled and moving in 2-4 months so dont want more work then needed in reparing holes and such in closet....." this is my gfgirls parents rental home" keeping cutting and such to minimum.... in your opinion will this work for the most part. I also have a air purifier in this room that has uv light n all to help with dust... o yea check out the new pics what you think

they look fine.. don't start over feeding them... just feed them food on monday EVERY OTHER WATER just water plain water... also one thing next time get 5 gallon buckets or something the trashcans are thin and deep... your wanting to grow in less depth more width.. not a big deal don't worry about it or try moving your plants they are totally fine.. just a next time thing.. plus it would be cheaper and less media to fill ..

no don't get into the C02 hype.. theres a lot that you might not understand about running it and with a system that small you will never ever have a need for c02 supplementation. its more for hermetically sealed grows... or EXTREAMLY large grows where consistent fresh air flow just isn't replenishing the c02 rates fast enough....

General air in your home that recycles all day due to your venting.. windows.. doors all that leaks or brings fresh air in.. that air carries about 400ppm c02 your plants will never utilize that before the air turns over if your air flow is properly setup.

you also have to understand in order to utilize c02 you really need to have your room temps raise when the co2 kicks on and there has to be a ample food source when the c02 kicks on because your basically forcing your plant to go into a "c02 intake mode and force grow" that might not make a lot of sense I'm trying to figure out how to describe it.. but no don't go get into al the bells and whistles you won't notice a change in that small of a grow.

yes and no I'm sure someday your probably going to be at the point where its doable and feasible but theres absolutely no point now.. or at all with that size of flower... also don't get sucked into the co2 bags and crap either.. even bigger waste... your looking good and healthy now just keep doing what your doing.... don't over feed and don't overwater...........remeber those containers are deep so the base is staying fairly moist IF you water fairly heavy... i would just stick to watering like 200ml every other day of fresh water to them then once a week give them a 1/4-1/2 strength feed.

or every three days 200ml... just make sure your dry before you water again.. from the pics the soil looks good though its not too wet.
